Half of Taylor Swift’s accolades and accomplishments are fraudulent, she’s creating a false symmetry with every artist out there by re-releasing her whole catalogue

That’s kinda funny coming from a Lana stan when most of her music lyrically is the same I‘m a sad girl bc my daddy hit me in Hollywood :( shtick and sonically is amazing background music if youre trying to sleep (if you remove the whiny whisper vocals at least)

Second hand embarrassment for you honestly

Lana has lost her edge. Her music and image is officially BORING. Her past 3 albums could have just been 1 album then she should have moved on from that sound.  For some reason her stans have deluded themselves into thinking its good. :doc:

The sample songs from 20-30 years ago trend is getting super tiring and none of them are anywhere close to as good as the originals (Ava Max entire discography, Break My Soul, Used To Know Me, Alone)

I don’t understand what point you’re trying to make. I think this all started because I was defending people who like pop music that doesn’t sound like it’s made for 12 year olds a la Smile? Some of simply have more mature ears, love! And that’s ok! Your entitled to your (bland) taste

folklore and evermore are such boring albums and it has nothing to do with its genre

"great lyrics" can't save a song with a dull beat/instrumentals :sorry:

while i wasn't a huge fan of midnights, it's still miles better than those two thanks to songs like midnight rain, lavender haze, karma etc.

Taylor Swift has used her celebrity status to promote her music the most out of any pop girl and she likely would have not been as succesful if it weren’t for the fact that Swifties love dissecting every little bit of her love life

Just pointed out how your username + profile pic basically sums up every Lana cliché I named :rip:

And you trashing another album for not being a boring album about a sad & mysterious white woman pretending to be Latina with daddy issues and ASMR vocals won’t change my points.

All the teenage white girls & gays who think mental illness is a personality trait will probably prefer Lana though, you’re definitely right!

- Born This Way was the album of the decade.

- Ultraviolence was the other album of the decade.

- LP1 by FKA twigs was the best debut of the decade.

- Katy Perry has a deeply unpleasant personality that always comes out if you let her speak candidly for more than 30 seconds.

- Taylor Swift is such a poor man’s pop superstar it would be funny if it weren’t for the crazy amount of aggrandising that happens around her output.

- Kesha is one of the most incisive, open hearted music artists working and the fact that she has managed to put out what she has after all the **** that went down (and continues to) — people sleep on her far too much and I’m glad the new album is getting flowers.

Jessie Ware is a Zionist and her "faggy, warm, lush" music isn't really enough for me to turn blind eye on it.

Also miss thing simply lacks a queer soul to me. Her entire aura gives me straight white girl being into voguing and gay culture after a night out in the club with her GBFs and having a Drag Race watch party.

what did she do that was zionist?

Jessie Ware’s voice has more ethereal soul than most anyone working today and she very much embodies that energy on stage. This is not You Need to Calm Down levels of white girl acknowledges queer culture cringe; where are these Zionist claims coming from?

Thread here. I love her music so I’m choosing to believe that she is just a dumb **** that doesn’t realise that anti-Jewish hate ≠ Zionist propaganda.

She is a Jewish woman so I of course support her talking about anti-semitism but some of the people she follows are quite Palestinian-genocide adjacent.

oh thats not- not her reposting zionist movement pages and following extreme zionists... pointing out anti-semitism can be done without siding with zionists. I hope it is just a follow and she doesnt actually identify as a zionist
