Castle In The Sky sounds like a 1.5x version

It's kind of uncomfortable to listen to :deadbanana: Why would they do this

That's the point, it's a rave song. She was inspired by this:

First of all, I'm soooo happy this is finally out!

My overall thought is that, while this album turned out to be way better than I expected, it could have been definitely better had she released under different circumstances, with no pressure from the label and fully leaning on an eurodance trashy sound.

Uhoh, Claws, King of Hearts, Revelations, Minute. These are all great songs, easily the standouts of the record. Feed the Beast is also very funny, it sounds like an Alexandra Stan track but I need to get used to the new vocal takes 'cause I've been overplaying the demo the death. I even miss the fake Saweetie future. :rip:

The rest of the album has some flaws: we all know Alone's main problem, I'm definitely going to replace it with the Alex Chapman remix. Thousand Pieces is cute, she did this genre way better on Clarity, especially with the way she used her vocals in that album compared to how she uses them here. BAIT isn't as bad I thought it would have been but it drags a bit too much even tho it's just 2 minutes and a half. Sex Talk is just there, I still don't understand why it's on this album when there were much better tracks on Problematique that could have been used.

Hit It from the Back definitely feels more cohesive here than it did on Problematique, but why is it shortened? :rip: It lacks the repetitiveness of the chorus that was the catchiest part. Coconuts is laughably out of place but it STILL is that bish. Castle in the Sky is very promising but definitely way too short, it picks up as soon as it ends. brrr works in the context of the album but as a closer... not so sure.

Not me sort of expecting CITS to sample this classic.

But it's better it didn't.

Banks completely overshadows Kim on BAIT. It feels like Banks feat. Kim lol. One of my favs by far

BTW, King of Hearts is #10 on New Music Friday in Italy. She’s the third international act on it, above Demi Lovato, Carly Rae Jepsen, Kelly Clarkson etc.

Can someone explain what has changed from the songs that made it from Problematique?

I can’t wait to hear it in HQ :jonny6:

I can admit that I was a Sex Talk hater, but since I heard the live version it instantly grew on me.

HIFTB is shorter and less repetitive, Revelations and Sex Talk remains the same. But all of them with improved/polished production of course
