Lady Claire Posted June 14, 2023 Share Posted June 14, 2023 I’m happy y’all are liking the album after many messy months I guess it was worth it Thousand Pieces was based on this song, it has the same title and melody: Castle in the Sky inspo: King of Hearts was inspired by their work: And obviously Alone: According to The New Yorker, Claws was also based on a German song so if any sistren from Germany could help it would be appreciated I think knowing her references/samples makes the songs even more cooler and makes the album more unique. She said she would be inspired by some local references she listened to while growing up and we can tell. I think we would have been annihilated had this become a reality, but I think the fact that we heard 95% of the album for months is just....not it. Thousand Pieces: I love it despite the tired 2017 urban influenced pop beat. The melody is catchy af it sounds like a good Post Malone song. Uh Oh: a bop wbk. Need the hq. BAIT: not sure about this one, filler vibes. Claws: THEE highlight of the album, pop perfection, perfect to sing along. Minute: this was unexpected, like really really unexpected. Could work as a single if her team was serious. Dua Lipa's Be The One vibes. Caste In The Sky: bop can't wait to dance to the hq version, obsesses with the pre-chorus. The version from Problématique flowed better and they literally didn't need to do any retouching for Feed the Beast. I really enjoyed this upon my first listen and had no skips. The stand outs for me are CLAWS, CASTLE IN THE SKY & UH OH. But i really enjoyed this from start to end!
