Still can’t get over how bad she fumbled Alone. So much hype and then collective disappointment.

2.0 should've been the main version. Such a wasted opportunity.

The kicker for me personally is that one sucked too. It failed to reach any kind of energy. It needed a true drop or resolution point in the production.

"King of Hearts" came on in a gay club in London and it was JOYOUS

Ikr!!! They also played on a club here the other day. I filmed and tagged her on my IG story, she saw and liked it  :dies:

Perfect club banger

I actually love "Alone" and I think it's a more creative use of the sample than just going into an all out banger which is what people expected. I think the error was only teasing the chorus on TikTok where people thought it would then explode. If she had teased the song as it was fully from the get-go people wouldn't have been disappointed.

how was Claws not a europe single :rip:

King Of Hearts should've been a single.. or even Revelations at some point. There's genuine HITS on this album that will never reach their potential because of Alone tanking.. and as people have said being generally underwhelming.

KOMH is the real gem here, we can’t blame Ava Max for being mad at Kim

Alone is honestly one of the best pop songs of the 20s so far. People complaining about the “trap verses” annoys me. It’s makes the build up in the chorus so much better than if the sample was just loud the entire song. I will defend that song and King of Hearts till I die. Even if you hate the album you have to admit those are A+ pop songs.

Claws, the title track, and Minute were robbed from being hits. The label promoted all the wrong singles :'(

I just got the vinyl a couple of days ago and it made me like some songs a bit more.

Agreed. I think the song needed to give full on club/dance banger, not just a pop song with a house-y chorus and sample.

Claws is still that girl tho.

A King of Hearts MV with her Hans look would've been such a slay, really. It wasn't even needed a huge budget, just that look and her performing as Hans (the king of hearts) and then playing herself after. Would be cute and simple + effective
