He really exceeded the expectations, that's nice. But that also means that the second week drop will be huge. I haven't listened to the album but I hope he has some potential hits in it to help the album's longevity.

I mean after Melanie and lana and Miley all did all better than the last albums (lana if i'm not wrong did her Better debut since 2015) i'm surprised some of you are surprised or find weird ed Is selling more pure copies than the last.

Vinyls are making pure sale bigger than in the last years.

Speak now will beat a record for Taylor versions too, better than more famous albums like fearless and Red.

Lol… The last what?

Ed doing similar numbers with no hit, joining Lana and Melanie is only highlighting how embarrassing ESV’s debut and run so far

This :rip:

Miley 119k album debut and the biggest song of 2023 thus far !! guess she got the last laugh after all after ed dissed her 10 years ago.

Ed still has the far bigger career :rip: Also, since she has the biggest hit of 2023, shouldn't the difference between their numbers be more than only 10,000 copies?

Y’all saying you’re pleasantly surprised by Ed when the numbers are 75% pure sales.

The bar is so low for Ed now :rip: Who woulda thought a few years back

ATRL thought 105k is a good number for Ed :rip: . The low standard :rip: . And without a hit, the second week will be interresting.

how did he go from like 30k to 105k :deadbanana2: ik chartdata said that their initial predictions didn't account for physicals but i'm supposed to believe ed sheeran has generated enough interest / a sizeable fanbase to collect all those physicals...?
