This edit doesn't sound official to me, especially with the attention to detail in the cuff/BMS remixes.

yeah, only for BBC. BMS had 2-3 edits (depending on the radio).

I don’t think it is requested by Parkwood or Columbia . It seems Radio 1 is adding it in anticipation of the tour. But, we’ll probably see in the coming weeks. Columbia is bound to start pushing something with the tour coming next week.

It was never sent to radio, nor given any meaningful playlisting. So it didn't grow to where it needed to, to take off. Another hit opportunity was squandered.
