Placing bets now this was Tucker's decision. Lachlan asked him to rein it in and he wouldn't.

Cable news is going down with millennials and Gen Z across the spectrum regardless so he'll still have a following on streaming.

He'll create his show like Megyn Kelly after she got fired from NBC and he'll be fine with his millions and his followers.

Seems like the end for Fox. They’ll still do better than MSNBC and CNN combined, but that’s not a high bar to clear.

Fox doesn't have younger viewers on cable or their streaming outlets.

Young Republicans and conservatives have already moved on to other streaming influencers.

Cable news is general is dying - this will just accelerate the end of the format.

HOLY ****!  I thought for sure Maria Bartiromo and/or Laura Ingrahm would take the fall for the settlement.

Eh... he's going to get a huge, FAT check from this and will then move onto another platform where he'll continue to spew his bile worse than ever before. And this is basically going to make him a martyr on the right.

Who picks him up next, though.. that's the question.

Doubtful.  Look how well that worked out for Bill O'Reilly. :coffee2:

That was definitely not his decision because there was zero indication that he was going to leave the network that was paying him so handsomely. Fox News still has a vice-like grip on American boomers so they continue swimming in cash. This was likely part of the Dominion settlement.

And Megyn Kelly is an irrelevant nobody now after being the star of Fox News for such a long time. Tucker will create his own show or start working for RT, gradually fading into obscurity like former Fox News stars.
