It doesn't take immense logic to understand that a song that is 1x platinum (ELIGIBLE, not even CERTIFIED...) is NOT a success in the streaming era, as I said, no matter how you spin it, and it doesn't matter what seniority excuses you come out. Basic on this logic, Madonna's last bomb singles are successes too. 

 

 

We all know Britney stans are certainly kings to manufacture the most lamentable excuses one after the other (her weak Hot 100 stats, poor amount of Grammys, lacking streaming power,...), but it doesn't work with me.

 

NOBODY in the real life cares about such thing as "SOLO"; Beyoncé started her career in 1998 as she was the LEAD singer of Destiny's Child, her name was widely recognized across the world, she was getting her coins AND  snatching GRAMMYS.

 

And yes, even a veteran like Elton John, whose career is more than 50 year old, can get MULTI-PLATINUM hits this decade unlike a certain blonde pop star.
