Taylor has a huge fanbase, which is great, but outside of that group, no one uses her.

And yet Taylor has more unique listeners on streaming platform than any female artist... ever. But sure Summer Boy! :deadbanana2:

Global ≠ anglosphere and China :sistrens:

It's not like China is the only Asian country where Lover SMASHED :deadbanana4: Outside of South Korea, can you name a SINGLE Asian country where TUN was bigger than Lover? Good luck! :deadbanana4:

ARIA – N/A

Lover:

tun had a bigger rollout but lover is by far the bigger album, it's going to outstream tun on Spotify before this year ends while selling 3m MORE pure sales than tun did.

Plus the fact that TUN had a gigantic head start in terms of streams given it did waaay better initially than Lover… and yeah, I mean gigantic :deadbanana4:

Lover is objectively and factually bigger. I’m sure ATRL will claim TUN “feels” bigger or whatever, but at the end of the day: one album stood the test of time and is top 10 on the BB200 with 8M daily streams. The other one is pulling 2M daily streams and not even top 200 on BB200. TUN was certainly a successful album, but Lover has been bigger for a while… again, factually.

thank u, next was bigger at the time but it's fairly obvious nowadays that Lover won the long game.

Lover will probably have multiple songs above 1B streams on Spotify within a year or 2.

As a big of Ari's music, TUN didn't age that well to me. I find myself going back to Dangerous Woman (her best album by far) & Positions moreso.

Not my post from 7 months ago aging like wine

It didn't even take 7 months for the multiple songs above 1B streams to come true.  And now the album has a #1 too.

Longevity in streaming just doesn't mean bigger though. I'm sorry but the GP does not know Lover singles. Taylor has the bigger fan base but 7 rings  in recognition and reach >>>>>

The GP doesn't know Lover singles? Really? 👀

can you even be mad as an arianator or tiny elephant whatever we arejfnf. while ariana abandoned her era UPON RELEASE :dancehall2:and went on to release random floppings w her friends, taylor believed in her album and in the end it triumphed.

something that really works for taylor is she does not trash talk her discography. that is more effective than ppl realize. she actively loves it and that really helps the audience connect to her. meanwhile my mother prob hates half the songs on TUN by now :hoetenks:
