She has been around and relevant for longer than some of your faves have been alive. It’s all good. No one expects her to smash these days. I agree that Me is more of the same and could be a MOL outtake, but Mine is different from anything she has done and if you think otherwise that’s on you. It’s a fantastic song. 
 

I’d love for her to have a hit song, but at the end of the day both she and most of her fans are beyond caring about chart success. In fact she has never cared.  

 

Some of y’all can stay pressed and just hope your faves are still around decades later.

She’s not doing a lot of promo. I feel like nowadays there’s literally sooooo much content, available 24/7 that you do need to actively promote if you want people to focus on you and not the other millions of options. Kelly has a recognizable name, but most people still associates her with her old hits… She needs to promo.

I'm not worried about my fav ahe released 2 at once and barely promoting it.  Clearly smashing is not a priority. We can wait for the album and see how that does
