I understand why rappers would have a low percentage of solo credits, but what’s JLo’s excuse? :rip:

P!nk, Britney, and Gaga ll the same ratio  But britney loyalists did nothing but give Gaga hell for 'collab' whats the tea?

Rihanna, Xtina, and Camila 40-50%.. We-

while the same exact can be said about Gaga loyalists coming for Britney (for any reason really) solo entries only to be right there with her :skull: egg on face

I don't know why this site acts obtuse like pop girls with urban crossovers/features aren't going to have more collabs. Of course Rih has a lot of collabs because she was literally the girl everyone ran to for a hook in the 2000s and 2010s :deadbanana4:

Sounds like monsters were defending their fave against woman not even from her era whilst fans of one of britney's actual peers were fueling and antaognising you guys watching the fire works. It seems  both have a healthy ratio and don't collab as much as was said.

Britney and Gaga solo success :clap3:

They should break it down to songs as lead in a ft or being the ft

Britney doing great, her most remembered and iconic hits are SOLO, some of her contemporaries can't say the same  :clap3:

Selena Gomez & The Scene being counted as a collab is literally a joke. It gives a wrong  perspection and view.

it would’ve been less wrong if u cut off SG&TS songs of SG total entries than to count it as a collab, cuz at least the % of collabs/solos post 2013 would be correct…

Is Adele’s feat. the piano sample? :jonny6:Has she even collaborated with someone before?

For real. The obsession with “solo” hit of this site is low key racist :skull:

Yikes @ Nicki with the 20%

I love her, but she's really more known as a feature artist, feature-maker

She’s a rapper most of them have tons of feat tracks and even albums. It’s black music culture, nothing to be ashamed of.

High-key. Combine the blatant racist incidents that had to have a whole overhaul, the subtle ones that are too common like this or their obsession to "humble" Black musicians, and mostly women, and the blind spots in between it's just beyond wild :deadbanana4:

Like of course Rihanna and Beyonce (and Nicki) are going to have more collabs because the urban music industry has been big with collabs since the 90s (literally no other part of music comes close to the volume of collabs in that part of the music industry). The odds of T.I., Jay Z, Kanye, PartyNextDoor, Kendrick, Drake etc doing collabs with those ladies is far higher than them doing collabs with Taylor, Gaga, Britney or Adele. And it's either they're acting stupid or are legit just dumb to the point of having such a big blind spot.

This thread exposing a certain fan base only disliking 'solo' stats when it reflects negatively on their fave. :fan: The kiis at Beyoncé and Rihanna for working with rappers are certainly interesting. :coffee2:

I recall during the 2010s when Beyoncé was considered chart poison and she couldn't feature on other folks songs cause they would surely flop.

Well today in 2023, Beyonce actually has a solo #1 hit and another solo top 10. Her features are minimal compared to others and yet she still has over 20 billion Spotify streams.

If she did have some of those 2010 pop collabs that others have.

Racist when a certain someone isn't in the lead... Interesting.

I was a little shocked by some of these but honestly who cares. I think jumping on an already successful song is a little sketchy but other than that who cares if its solo or not. Nothing really matters anyway anymore when it comes to the charts. Album tracks ruined the singles chart, everything is inflated. It used to matter how many chart entries an artist had but now its totally irrelevant
