imo the best should be a rule that allow only 1 sale overall cause these new rules just makes artists release remixes and remixes to maximize sales and is just too stupid D;

Yeah but with mass buying it's easy for Barbz to manipulate the chart. If Jimin went #1 while being #35 on streaming, Princess Diana will go #1 too with these remixes considering the streaming is better.

 

Unless Billboard does some big filtering and change the rules

I LOVE me a chopped and screwed remix. Slow and reverb versions of songs SLAP and even sped up. I sometimes listen to songs at 1.25 speed or .50 speed. Streets bu Doja is good at .5 speed and her verse slaps at 1.25 speed.

 

but to release then as official songs is, I don’t wanna say weird, but interesting because fans release slow & reverb and sped up versions all the time. And creators use those versions to not get flagged for copyright.

Why not focus on one song and produce a quality one at that? They're wasting money

there can be 100 remixes in a room, and 99% of people don't hear them, but it just takes 1% to believe in them and purchase on myriad accounts to get to #1

This is so random.   How does a random remix of a song (as a feature) compare to your fave’s flop lead single? This is even going to outpeak Never Really Over, even before the remixes
