That’s like writing off Old Town Road, which also had just gotten to #1 at this point in 2019, had spent even less time on the charts beforehand, and still had a long way to climb on radio.

Both Kill Bill and Flowers will leapfrog Anti-Hero within the next month going off the latest update. I won’t even address the Last Night and OTR comparison

I won’t even address the Last Night and OTR comparison That's assuming the gap will remain stable which it shouldn't. Song at their peak tend to fall harder and then stabilize at lower points. LN still has a lot of room to grow on radio while AH is very stable. I think that KB is the front runner especially with the extra points from the remix but it is far from guaranteed.
Sscorpionn Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 (edited) That one user having meltdown in this thread Predictors are not just making up numbers to favour SZA. Morgan’s streams on US Spotify this week are down 700k. They probably estimated a similar decline in other platforms hence the lower streaming numbers. Edited April 22, 2023 by Sscorpionn

Once KB or Flowers overtakes Anti-Hero, that’s the end of its year end #1 hopes and the race becomes a three-way. I think by September one of KB/Flowers will be eliminated from contention and it will come down to the other one and LN.

How have you been ranting for PAGES on this forum AND PULSE about trying to get a song by a racist man to #1, even when it's already been #1 for WEEKS? SZA won babes. Also the OTR comparison a 19-week #1 hit that peaked with over 1000 points, and blocked 2 Taylor Swift singles hitting #1? Of course it was #1 on the YE. Morgan MIGHT have a shot at #1, but you are purposely acting dense, as if Morgan's song is anywhere near as dominant as OTR was during its peak Go outside and breathe some fresh air. Stop being weird about a black woman getting her first #1 in a white-dominated industry. Morgan will be #1 next week and you can continue your dick riding then

I’ve accepted that. My focus is now on the YE #1, and we have 8 months to go.

Do ya now if people bought kill bill then bought it again for this week, do those get filtered? Like I bought it 2 weeks ago then again this last week but I don't think it counts?
Tekken_Guy Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 I actually was kind of hoping to see another year end #1 that never topped the Hot 100 after Levitating.

Swifties are really something because WHERE in my comment did it seem like I'm fuming at AH The user stated "even AH can be #1" which is not true so I replied saying so. I semi-stan Taylor. You would think that Swifties stanning the biggest artist in the world would not make them insecure
brianc33710 Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 I prefer LN but with KB getting so close so many weeks I'm happy for KB at #1. KB has begun to decline so this is its last chance. LN will likely rebound the next week & has a lot of room to grow. LN also has no official remixes to download/stream yet either. I think that will change in the coming weeks as he'll need them for Dance/Mix & Rhythmic airplay.

I think that will change in the coming weeks as he'll need them for Dance/Mix & Rhythmic airplay. This was what I was thinking. I mainly was rooting for the possibility of another Levitating situation where it goes year end #1 despite peaking at #2. Last Night should return to #1 next week and stay parked atop for awhile. I don't see EBS getting to #1 as it needs upward of 45m streams to get there without radio airplay. Also he could use a streaming rebound as a buffer. My calculations showed that it was a midweek slump in streaming for Last Night, not anything Kill Bill itself did, that moved SZA in the lead.

SissyThatTwink Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 (edited) would kill bill hold any specific record when it goes #1? like the word kill or bill? or just any random artist stat that billboard likes to add in their articles ? Edited April 24, 2023 by SissyThatTwink
krustysalt Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 People that were rooting for Morgan in the earlier pages of this thread lost

That one is worse. There were 64 versions of that song out and they still couldn't come close to Morgan and SZA. Morgan has his faults, but at least the success of his music is organic.
