he released "Elk Grove" last month and it has 1.5M streams (it got 86k on its biggest streaming day)

I know him a bit. He actually pretty popular among the folk music genre. He has very good playlisting in folk pop genres on Spotify and Apple Music. He trending a little because a lot hipsters and folk music fans are currently listening to that type of music a lot during spring and summer. If you guys check his Spotify page he actually has very good streams for a folk artist.
