Miley had such a huge opportunity after Flowers. She’ll REALLY let Flowers be just what it is: a huge smash hit. Not a smash hit that will get her to a new career level in terms of stabilized success.. like she’s had during her teen years but now being an adult 

 

lets say what we need to say, Miley’s career is that huge cuz her high peaks are HIGH HIGH like Hannah, PITUSA, wrecking ball, flowers.
But her success is unstable as ****. I think its the most unstable career we keep track on. 

but if u think about it Plastic Hearts was an amazing era that helped her to rebound into that huge of a smash that was Flowers. And after years of hard work to rise her success again after Dead Petz-Younger Now, she’s had the chance to have a stabilized success again but she’s just dropped the ball soooo hard with the whole era. its sad.

Ummm. I wish there was a storyline and budget.
 

But what was nice about this video was how hot she looked and the fact that she looked really happy. That, to me, shows how she is in a much better place than when the song was first created.

Ikr. Even Miley seemed to give zero ****, like sis where’s the emotions/ facial expressions? The whole video is basically just her looking pretty while posing for beauty shots  

 

Flowers MV was good, the minimalist concept was on point and it actually helped elevate the song. River’s was at least decent (tho a bit monotonous). Meanwhile Jaded is just straight up boring.  
 

If there’s one thing this era has been consistent at, it’s the lack of effort and everything looking so dull and tedious. This video is no different and will be forgotten by next week and certainly will not do anything for the song at all. im honestly so frustrated

All the videos have been so underwhelming this era so not surprised with this new one. Zero creativity, just an excuse to show how hot she is.  At least the song is a bop.

I like it, a simple summery video fits this song well. Sometimes a big budget video with a storyline isn’t what we have to get.

I'm somehow less disappointed than some of you, but I think it's cause I already had my meltdowns 1-2 weeks ago and I've lowered my expectations a lot since then

 

Miley looks gorgeous here, I love how breezy and summery this video is. But it's certainly low-effort and it's all just far less grand than what we thought the era was going to be.

 

River felt like a cute placeholder single while Flowers smashed... so then what is this exactly? We all thought the promo would pick up for single #3 but it seems like they have just completely dropped the ball. Not sure what to even think anymore but I just hope Miley is happy & healthy, and that she'll talk to us eventually
