GraceRandolph Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Polling says the GP wants a New Democratic candidate in 2024. I’m glad Biden beat Trump, but thank u, next.
Orsay Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 MARIANNE ARMY STAND UP!!! everyone in my town is voting for her!
Isaiah Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 No I’m not surprised, she’s been devouring on a lot of viral debates lately Spoiler too bad the entire DNC will inevitably come together and gut all her momentum in favor of whatever neoliberal centrist they want to prop up, citing “she has no chance” as their reasoning
Specter Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Ugh I welcome all leftist opponents to BiDONE but, respectfully, is there NO one else that can challenge him from the left? ANYONE? I'm not even being a bitter atheist about this one - well, not fully at least. She's eloquent, but her flowery language, deference to waxing poetic (again, I'm not dissing this - I love me some metaphysical jargon, but not in politics) and off-putting, easily mocked spirituality is not the tea. I want a ""militant"" leftist candidate. I recognize how unrealistic that sounds given the political hellscape of America, but this time Covid is gone (it isn't, but we will pretend it has like America); Trump x DeSatan mess is brewing, and war rages on across Europe. ""Saving democracy"" isn't a pitch people will respond to again.
AMIT Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 I mean she definitely would be better than yet another right-wing clown stand off, but that's precisely why I don't see it happening. Electoralism in the US is a sham. Capitalism is way too entrenched in America's society and culture by now for any substantial progress.
JanStan Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 The irony is that the most likely way for dems to hold the presidency is if it’s a Biden/Trump rematch. ANY other match up is pretty much a republican win. Any other republican will most likely beat Biden and any other Dem would lose to Trump.

Forevermore. Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 It's such a far stretch.. but I really hope she wins. Biden isn't winning against Trump a second time. All this talk about settling for Biden is exactly how we got here in the first place. Continuing to push candidates who promise that "nothing will fundamentally change" is not a good strategy in the long-term. For how long are we supposed to continue to settle?
Touchdown Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 nnnnnGood luck in the first primary state South Carolina. Biden has this on lock.
