I honestly think he hasn’t been really relevant since 2017.

Perfect was his last real organic hit.

The collabs album was a flop and Bad Habits/Shivers was kind of pure payola, he hasn’t really been relevant in like 5-6 years.

Bad Habits and Shivers felt like legit smashes though, people loved them.

OT: Somehow he will find a way into the Top 10, I just know it.

I swear at this point Ed's career is pure payola. He used to be organically big a few years ago but now everything is forced down people's throats whether they like it or not :deadbanana4:

This chart lost all credibility somewhere in 2016 something. And this is exactly the reason. We all know how bts works. They debut on top and fall off in a couple weeks. There needs to be restrictions on these charts. With album cuts making it and songs like this. It’s not really defining popularity. Maybe for a week, but overall. None of those songs will be remembered.

For me, it was early 2020, when Billboard removed UGC streams from the chart and failed to address mass buying issues. They knew it was coming. HITR and Heartless going to #1 then quickly falling off in late 2019 were the warning signs, and Billboard just decided to ignore it. More than three years has passed now, and Billboard still hasn't fully addressed the situation. I posted the #1s from 2020, and about half of them are forgettable now. That was the year it was clear and apparent Billboard lost its credibility. And that credibility won't be restored until Billboard addresses the mass buying situation.

the way billboard is scared of the k-pop stans lfkjdslkafjsdoijesidjv

I'm not mad at them tho. If I could rally the troops for a Brandy single I would

I’ll never forgive Billboard for discrediting Levitating’s sales when they pull stuff like this for other artists :deadbanana2:

The way they were quick to discredit her surge in sales, which were only around 10k, nothing outside of this world, but let the kpop stans get away with bigger numbers than that all the time :rip:

Based on this all the 7 BTS members will probably debut at #1 as solo artists if they release multiple remixes the same week  :rip:

That BTS member that "always gets what he wants" will probably be the next one  :skull:

Depend on his label.

Armys will not mass buying the song if the song only have 1 version.

they will focus more on bb 200 album chart. Because currently there is no soloist Kpop act debut at #1 on bb200 chart. They will go for that record.:cm:

(RM, Jin & J-hope previous lead solo single doesn’t have multi version and debut lower on hot 100)

next member to release an album: Yoongi, Jungkook & V

(I hope they are mass buying Jungkook & V lead single instead of Yoongi):jonnycat:

I'm sorry any number 1 single in 2023 driven by sales is fraudulent :bibliahh:

Left & Right sold around 40k sales with one version?.

If he release 5 version & shipped the physical CD’s at the same week then yeah he could pull 300-400k :jonny6:

Jungkook & V’s solo stan is much bigger than Jimin.
