so there’s a chance that the recalibration won’t have that much effect on billboard and it could just be the company making media base audience numbers on par with billboard’s estimates?

I think it will have an effect, Mediabase and Billboard audience numbers are not that different, on average BB's airplay is around 90% of what we see on Mediabase.

I could be wrong tho, and judging by the sales increase, she seems to have a strong chance, I made some estimates with the recalibration in mind, and if KB sells 8k+ more than LN (around 17k), it should have it.

we don’t even know website sales yet.. she could exceed all expectations in the sales department once we figure out the sales count

Winston predicted around 8k iTunes sales so 9k website sales is needed basically. It might be possible with al last minute push today.

We could have a better estimate of KB's sales with tomorrow's HDD projections for 'SOS', right?

I’m not ready for another “Levitating” situation…

i can't at you admitting this ddd. Congrats being a simpleton.

it's 2023. have you seen sales numbers? there are weeks this year where the #1 seller was under 10k. how many songs do you buy on iTunes...?

I did some estimations and Kill Bill needs to sell at least 17000 to reach #1 (asuming Morgan sells 9000)

So let's hope it sells at least 20k just in case to avoid another Levitating

If they pull that again and Kill Bill ends up the #1 song of the year :rip:

It probably will.

Kill Bill is higher than Flowers on the year-end charts and it's predicted to be higher on the Hot 100 this week

It's going to pass Anti-hero soon:

Drake is releasing tonight so if Kill Bill doesn’t go #1 this week then it’s pretty much over :weeps:

Either way this week was the last chance for Kill Bill because Last Night will increase more than Kill Bill on radio so the gap will be higher

I hope sales are higher than expected. Is there an estimation for the website sales?

Thank goodness. SZA can get this week and then Drake can block the racist country star :alexz:

I will hate MW forever if his racist ass blocks a very talented black woman from #1. :biblio:

This tragic attempt, who do you know that still buys music from people other than their favs :rip:

Radio didn't "sabotage" Kill Bill. MediaBase made the audience adjustments that significantly decreased KB audience totals. You can't blame radio stations for MBs impression recalibration

I edited my post and stand corrected. I saw comments about it before in this forum, but I’m not seeing any articles online when searching, only seeing stuff on racial slurs he’s used.

OT: Kill Bill better get it this week :WAP:

Mariah, Brenda Lee, a slew of other xmas songs, Taylor, and Miley have all “blocked” Sza…but MW is the one we are pointing towards?
