I mean, I knew Britain was really obsessed with the trans debate, but now it’s both sides of the isle raging over this? Even the Labour Party has come out and said they’re through touching this subject. They’re blaming Nicole Sturgeon’s defeat in Scotland over the gender recognition bill, too. Is the UK a TERF paradise now? Where are the Greens on this subject?

I’m not well informed enough on the trans debate but can someone explain to me why there has been such an extreme increase in anti-trans rhetoric/policies? I know it has always been prevalent but it feels like it has exploded in the last 2 years. Is it really solely a tactic by the right to distract their voters from other issues?

All doing our best so support them and make them feel accepted by us ofc, but it cannot be easy when literally everyday here and around the world things seem to be going backwards and fast??

This is precisely why I'm against radicalists on both ends of the political spectrum. Anyone glorifying authoritarian ideology, regardless of whether it's from the left or the right, have nothing of value to offer society. Plenty of Communists will pretend to be all for trans rights, when, behind the scenes, this is what they're really advocating for. It's no surprise to me. People who hold these views can never be trusted, period.
