How come all the single releases from this era are underwhelming and the rest of the album are the masterpieces?

 

They saved the best for the album release itself, namely:

• Down To You
• Chemistry
• Magic
• Rock Hudson

When I did my first proper listen through the album, front to end, I was really blown away and suddenly each of the songs she released all made sense.

Looking at the early NMF, I think the speculation of pushing Rock Hudson with the album is correct. The early doors playlisting shows it… let’s see if they push this as a radio single. It doesn’t have *amazing* playlisting so far:

Good for her if she needed a chill album to heal, but it ends up being bland.

I was expecting something rockerish from her, maybe it's time for me to accept she's never topping Never Again/Sober and Stronger as an album

Ugh the album is gorgeous all together. Much better than I expected.

I’ve tried closing restarting the app to no avail. Seems to be happening to a bunch of people with a bunch of different news releases, so it’s an issue on spotify’s end I guess.

There was an issue for all Artists. I had to download the songs at first on Spotify with the down arrow but appears it working now.
