Go to any Banes and Noble they have them on display for purchase in the front of the store. Florida is crazy. At some point they are going to start banning E.M. Forster books like Maurice. Can you imagine they really start banning E.M. Forester? Edited March 18, 2023 by JustLikeHoney

Bang Up Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 He'll be indicted but won't go to jail. It'll be insane to have a currently indicted person running for President. The Dems have to make sure the control the messaging behind this (doubt they will), otherwise the right will very easily be able to convince the American people this was a Democrat setup to take him out. The right-wing media will play this narrative nonstop and I can see it taking hold even among people who don't like Trump, because they won't know the full story.

Idk they tried to do that with the Mar A Lago raid. Republicans raced to go on TV to say that Trump would win the election because of it. Then slowly more info came out about the raid and they changed their tune. Yes, Trump’s diehard supports will claim it’s a set up, but the majority of Americans will know that it is real. The real concern is that voters will not care about this indictment. They have proven over and over again that they do not care about if their president is a criminal. Most people think everyone in DC is a criminal (and there’s some truth in that). A majority people know that Trump incited the Jan 6th insurrection, but they don’t care because he can “get things done”. If they can forgive him for that, they can forgive him for the porn star hush money scandal The real indictment to look out for is the one that may come from Georgia. Hopefully the Manhattan indictment will trigger other indictments

From what I've read on this, the charge should be a misdemeanor, which would be outside the statue of limitations. But, if it's considered a felony, the statue of limitations was extended due to COVID. The NY prosecutor is using the unprosecuted federal charge as the additional crime to make it a felony. There is a high likelihood of a judge immediately dismissing this. They are going forward with this because the extended statue of limitations is expiring soon. I consider this poor judgement on the part of the NY prosecutor,as Trump is already using this to ramp up the " they are out to get me by any means possible" talking points.
