arianuh Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 A flop era in my books. Only like 2 songs from that album I still enjoy. Serve us another Aquarius or Nightride legend

Bouncin is a really a song ahead of this time. The instrumental is so avant. The choreo is perfect too and love the colorization in the vid I know she is chart poison and completely independent but it is hard to believe with TikTok and social media, Bouncing and X were never hits . Not even social media/TikTok hits. The GP really hates ha and has bad taste.

Always giving her fans soo much & I’m always going to be loyal supporting! She gave us 6 music video sis

Power love Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 What was she doing that the era is now officially over?
starstruckaj Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 Finally got to see her on tour this era 333 was such a moment, the deluxe made this era last awhile but it was a nice run. The singles didn't hit as hard as the SFY ones did but I think its one of her stronger albums overall; Last Call into The Chase was a lowkey a career highlight from her too imo. Loved ha Sims/ae moment in the Undo MV

Stop lying on good sis name I know she on a tight budget and a video game geek, but what was she thinking? Plus the video had nothing to do with the song The fact that the "Undo" title at the start is the best part of that whole video
Amethyst Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 Something like a Heartbreak needs more appreciation in this thread and in general! A deepcut that is essentially mixtape Tinashe sound all over. I think Tinashe was brave for committing to an album like this when she slowly but finally was gaining some traction after Songs For You with songs like Link Up, Save Room For Us and Die A Little Bit. And although you can find some songs that resemblance those (X, Undo) the overall tone of the album is much more experimental and chill. She could have made Songs For You 2.0 but she committed to putting out an actual cohesive project. Aesthetically, I also really liked the futuristic natural landscape imagery of the era but I think she could have made more of it. Highlights for me: SLAH, Bouncin, Pasadena, Small Reminders, The Chase, Unconditional
Nashe Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 (edited) songs: X, I Can See The Future, The Chase, Small Reminders, Something Like A <3break music videos: X, HMU & Pasadena I feel like sonically she can do way better, I don't really use much of the album. Hope she ups the tempo for the next one cuz this mellow stuff was very meh also she needs to be jailed for not releasing Hopeless Edited March 11, 2023 by Nashe
kishi Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 Bouncin and Naturally, the songs and the music videos are the highlights for me. Getting to meet her and see her perform live for the first time last June was monumental!

Bones Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 I think it’s safe to say it’s her best work to date

I mean the photography and also the lightning of the video. I think this give a special interesting edge to the video. Love the Blue-Orange-Purple lightning in Bouncin For such a simple video is very interesting. The Choreo Looks so badass and hard. I also love the VR headset and the geometric symbol in the video. Tinashe makeup. She's serving main pop girl always. Im very attentive of random details in Music Videos Tinashe really has a thing for futuristic visuals. I wonder if she will keep with this line or move to something new. Edited March 12, 2023 by AvadaKedavra
collin Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 This was one of my least fav albums of hers but it still produced some of her best songs ever: Bouncin, ICSTF, Small Reminders, Pasadena and Woke Up Blessed.

I struggled to get into this one as a whole compared to SFY, but there are still some gems to be enjoyed
Alldeezy Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 The album was brilliant and it made me a big Tinashe fan! Let Me Down Slowly, The Chase, Naturally Are My Trinity
SitarHero Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 A decline for me. Aquarius and SFY both have it all

saintspice Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 i looooved this album so much. bouncin, x, pasadena, small reminders, naturally, the chase. also you all SLEEP ON last call that is one of the greatest songs i’ve ever heard. cant wait for her next body of work i will be purchasing and wish i could get 333 on vinyl
L0verb0y Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 The highlights for me are: Bouncin MV - It checked many boxes, was giving MPG, and had some buzz on Twitter. Critical Acclaim - The album was well received and made many Year-End lists Deluxe Album Cover - The gurls were gagged on here by the album cover and pics from the shoot we were so cool Sold Out Tour - She independently sold out her tour and we got that Throw A Fit/Link Up medley. HMU MV - Loved how she executed this video, referenced her faves, had a cute moment with B's Thique comparison. So proud of her!
theweekend Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 love this album but it was a decline. this era felt lackluster for me compared to nightride, Aquarius and songs for you. I don't know why but those eras hit me like a train and even though I love 333 it felt it was done the week after the album release. I think the fact that I've never got into boucin is what killed the hype for me. all in all we've got amazing songs like small reminders, I can see the future, X, HMU, Pasadena and shy guy.
