I know it's just the nature of ATRL, but the way that people refuse to admit these numbers are bad is kinda hilarious  Like are people forgetting that Flowers is making up a full 9 million of these total figures? The rest of the album dropped from 18 million to 11 million. That's objectively bad when the lead single of this album cycle literally broke multiple all-time Spotify records (not to mention the fact that the follow-up single is currently #1 on TTH)

This is what happens when artists don’t promote their albums (or anything in Miley’s case). She could have easily went to shows and do some promo for the album but no she decided to stay at home being lazy and this is what happened. I hope artists finally learn that promo is something that shouldn’t be skipped.
