So in a way this album did around same if not for the massive hit that Flowers is. 

So , all the people who listened to Flowers so much didn't care about her album much at all.

That's not a good thing for a name that is widely known.

Flowers was viral just because of the gossip..so I was expecting people not being that interested in her overall but at the same time they would have been more interested to find other gossip in other songs after flowers so i was expecting not records but something definitely better.

People told me that Flowers being huge doesn't guarantee the album will be, but I did NOT expect lower debut numbers than Future Nostalgia.

I knew it would do underwhelming numbers when people on my TL/stories that enjoyed Flowers didn’t even know she had an album out (while still having flowers on their playlist).

 

She needed some promo aligned as in live performances and stronger online presence. She might do good in the long run because the album is quite tight with something for everybody
