The problem is that he could sneak a 2016 in if people don't show up to vote enough like 2020. DeSantis is sadistic but very productive on his legislations - a literally wet dream for the GOPs to take over the country. Just when we thought we can get rid of McConnell

Ted Cruz actually finished pretty strong all things considered; he started polling at like 5% and ended second place. I think DeSantis is more of a Jeb Bush; he's gonna crash and burn

This is going to be so messy and entertaining. Honestly, this is best case scenario for Dems because Trump will be so focused on battling DeSantis that Dems will be able to slide by... and then by the time the primary is over, DeSantis will be a joke nationally.  

 

It's literally going to be two loons battling it out to be the most extreme, with each trying to one-up another. They will ultimately turn a huge portion of the US public against Republicans all together.
