BOOM! Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 She seems unstoppable almost 35 years into her career. How is she doing it and where are other girlies failing? Talent always wins?
Joster Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 What is even crazier is..... she isn't done yet. She can still dye her hair black and deliver a Ya Encontre el Ladron Vol .2 and slay all the charts. #HireMe
Poete Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 (edited) Talent. The funny thing is she still has so much more potential. Hopefully she release another rock classic in the future. Edited March 4, 2023 by Poete
The Second Coming Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Most successful female artist from the 90's did that

The GP just never gets tired of her, it's insane.

Outlaws Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Yes. I'm also surprised she's not making any good music
vale9001 Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 (edited) I don't think she is repeaking too. The new song with Karol G i don't know how will make, it's only a week old, but the one about the ex husband is far away from being a ww smash hit like the ones from 2001 to 2010. And some songs from 2010 to 2020 have been biggest too IMO. It's like more she is starting to peak on spotify too now latin music has exploded there too, not only on youtube and others platforms. chaklux Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Well, she has always been relevant and a MPG even when she underperforms occasionally. Similar to Beyoncé, no one sees Shakira and think of her as a legacy act. They are still one of the biggest names in music in 2023, charts or no charts.

She’s a woman that started her career in 1992 and is having multiple top 10 hits in the usa in 2023. How is she not repeaking? Who was the last woman over 40 doing this on the same era? Madonna with Music and Don’t Tell Me? And Shakira is doing this with Spanish songs lmao. This is history happening right now. Imagine trying to downplay this

To “re-peak” means to surpass your previous peak, and Shakira is not as big as she was when she released Whenever Wherever and Hips Don’t Lie because she dominated every market back then, while now her success is concentrated more in the U.S, Latin America and a few European countries. That said, her longevity is extremely impressive, especially when you compare how her peers like Enrique, Ricky, Thalia, etc are doing. Edited March 4, 2023 by CaptainMusic
GeeDuval Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 I love how theres always the smart remarks know it alls. “Technically she is not, because….” LOL Anyway. congratulations to the undisputed queen of Latin Music on REPEAKING! 32 years into her career, even if she is not beating her HDL, WW records. 46 and She IS charting GLOBALLY, breaking records & has gone into each era so effortlessly finding a hit here or there even if her music has been meh lately. I still have faith she will one day say “**** it!” Dye her hair back to black and give us a DELL vol. 2
