That song was such a huge moment at that time it was playing on MTV like crazy and was no1 on TRL for weeks. The performance goes without saying. It's such an iconic 00s song.

 

Was really surprised it peaked somewhere in the 30s or something ob the Hot100 when I joined online forums some 15 years later.

Dog Days Are Over by Florence + The Machine. Peaked at like #29, but is like 4x Platinum or so in the US.

 

Also possibly the BIGGEST offender: Bohemian Rhapsody making to #9 in its initial chart run, then #2 post death of Freddie Mercury  Never reached #1, but is diamond in the US.

That 4X Platinum certification is old

 

It's been eligible for 6X Platinum since last year

i think bey has many songs that fit this. she has single ladies, her songs from her debut album except crazy in love and recently with bms. all reached the no. 1 peak but completely forgotten and has horrendous streaming stats

For what i remember Queen have never been successfull for single sales in the Us so basically all their catalog of classic hits can be quoted. Bohemian peaked only at 33.
