I don't know how it works in the US, but in Spain legally all citizens have the right to be admitted to any establishment open to the public under the same conditions as all customers. The conditions for entering an establishment must be based on objective criteria, which cannot be, under any circumstances, personal or discriminatory. It is unacceptable for a restaurant in the heart of the city of Barcelona to discriminate against its customers. It cannot be that, without any valid reason, a restaurant prohibits a citizen from entering.
