The Weeknd f/ Ariana Grande - "Die For You (Remix)"

My only complain is that she should've stayed on the track until the end, at least with adlibs or something.

But I must admit that she served one of her best vocal moments ever at the end of her verse with that "you doOoOo" :jonny6: the chills

Its probably the producers or ariana fault for not putting her bg vocals louder and more there and also not inlcuding her in the last chorus

I was definitely expecting more (there's not enough Ariana tbh) but I'm sure it'll grow on me :chick3:

This is not it.

I didn't use the original, and the remix won't make me do it unlike it did with Save Your Tears.

I'm sorry coz I want more Ariana. I don't want her 'retiring' a la my fave

I love it. I was a bit thrown off at her verse at first, as you can tell she's in Wicked mode and her voice has become more theatrical. After a few spins I'm obsessed though, she definitely elevates the song and I love her ad-libs. That said, why is she gone on the final chorus? :psyduck:

exactly! the verse itself is not as iconic or powerful as the SYT Remix but the vocals are immaculate

do y'all think we will get an animated music video? cause it really seems republic is pushing this remix hard, so I would guess they wouldn't only release a lyric video

never heard this song before but it’s really bad. she should have stayed in retirement instead of wasting her time and energy on low quality material.

Just listened to this on earphones. I appreciate her verse now. It's better on earphones, gays.

GOD, i've missed her so much!
it was so refreshing to hear her voice on something (somewhat) NEW.

not a big fan or listener of the weeknd but their musical chemistry is great.

the way she slides in during the first chorus is sooo smooth and then the high note >>>

i've always loved how she makes her presence known on her features

Im at work and havent got the chance to listen but after reading the replies here I dont want to listen to it anymore :skull:

I agree it did need more ariana vocals in the climax but its a good remix, she adds nice vocals and harmonies and its definitely a grower, gets better with each listen

very big disappointment

okay this is bad ill stream the original :skull: i wouldve rather it come out next week and have it be perfect than this rushed mess

By far my least favorite song they’ve done together 😕

yeah, this remix feels useless. She really elevated Save Your Tears with her verse, and the original was already a 10/10. I did not like Die For You that much and hoped her remix would make me like the song more, but not really. :gaycat6:

edit : also, her voice sounds "weak" in her DFY verse, I don't really like it too :(
