liquiddiamonds Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 (edited) Lovin it for SZA and Bey. A sum larger than the winner for the later. The upset really worked in her favor at the end. Taylor already passed Shania longevity-wise and she has been fully embraced by audiences other than country in a way Shania never was. Shania had three big albums, but they were always country-pop at their core. Shania is still doin wonderful. Usually country females don’t even chart in the upper parts of the b200 past a certain age and she’s still getting good debuts Edited February 7, 2023 by liquiddiamonds

Walk_Away21 Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Of course country music refuses to support Shania's comeback so they can play 90% of men on radio

Do some research you absolute fart. I’m not even a fan and I know Shania shifted incredible numbers for at least 3 albums.
slw84 Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 not the Beyhive and Monsters comparing BB200 stats on occasional weeks. My baby Shania better snatch another top 10. She served Wendy's and cow outfit and she ain't do that for nothing.

Comparing her to Taylor Swift who has had +10 albums of straight success is nonsense Shania is more-like the Adele of the 90s

Shania was the Taylor of the late 90s/early 2000s This may have seemed plausible around Speak Now/Red, but there’s no comparison between the two now. It’s difficult to find any reference point for Taylor, 10 albums and 15+ years in and still operating at peak commercial power with ALL of her albums still being heavily consumed. fridayteenage Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 shania could be #1 uk and #10 us? weird

Auburn Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 So happy to see Shania in the top ten on Grammys week nonetheless! I was worried about how this would debut since Now had tour bundles, but this is pretty good! Top ten in the US and hopefully #1 in both Canada and the UK at 57 years old 10 minutes ago, FightDragonsWithMe said: Whatever helps you cope, Taylor isn't about to leave her fanbase high and dry for 15+ years to drop Now, then wait another 6 for Queen of Me 💀 Taylor also isn't 40 yo+ with Lyme disease destroying her vocal nerves like Shania was there is no comparison because Taylor had to completely abandon country to see the global success Shania has had

OrgVisual Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Not Renaissance above Harry's House. The GP has spoken How is Certified Lover Boy still in top 20?

Taylena Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 The random Shania and Taylor comparisons here. ATRL is so weird.

Either way, this still does not contradict the point of the person you were responding to.
By the Water Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Hope Shania snatches it Beyoncé with a bigger Grammys boost than Harry?
