thats what happens when you have certified catalogue classics unlike a certain BAFTA(less) & Oscar(less) winning artist

5 albums charting and somehow Gaga managed to be outstreamed by Lana, Shakira, Miley, Beyoncé, Rihanna, SZA, etc? :rip:

Funny how Top Gun soundtrack is now being included as a Gaga album. Guess her fans can’t say a word about mass releasing (Chromatica, Dawn of Chromatica, Born This Way Reimagined, Love for Sale, Top Gun :rip:)

Idk till which point the raw amount of entries is a useful stat, the Spotify album chart is kinda messy with the albums tho

Katy having 2 and the 2 are Teenage Dream

Gaga I think has The Fame double counted due to “The Fame Monster (Deluxe)”

Some soundtracks count for the artists other don’t

MotoMami was recently changed from its + version to the Og

As of now the chart has yet to fix some issues that needs to be fixed

Gaga is part of 9 of the 12 tracks on the Top Gun Soundtrack, and she is credited as one of the main artist of the album alongside Hans Zimmer, so... Consider it a side project :giraffe:

Dawn Of Chromatica is a remix album, BTW Reimagined is just a reissue and Love For Sale is an album full of jazz covers, none of them contain new music, so i don't know what your point is :rip:

You dragging Gaga but praising Taylor in the post below when she's the one who has been mass releasing :rip: she has released 3 completely new albums and two re-recordings with new songs since the decade started, make it make sense.

It also seems to be dependent on how many albums they've released since 2020 (the start of the chart). Beyoncé has released one. :deadbanana2:

Albums released since 2020:

Ariana - 1

Gaga - 1 (2 if you count L4S)

Rihanna - 0

Katy Perry - 1

Adele - 1

Lana del Rey - 2

Taylor - 3 (5 if you count her re-recordings)

So no, there’s no dependecy with albums released since 2020 as most of them have released 1 or in Rihanna’s case, 0.

K bye for now, Sunshine. <3

She's additionally released Dawn of Chromatica, reissued Born This Way and released the Top Gun soundtrack. So that would be 5.

Also, 'dependency' wasn't the word you were wanting. Hope this wasn't your first post back from ban land. :lmao:

They were pointing out the irony of you doing exactly what you just did, the self-drag :rip:

So it's the same to release a remix album than release a brand new album with completely new songs, got it.

According to the OP counting the Top Gun soundtrack, yes :rip: Literally you keep proving that users point :priceless:

The Top Gun Soundtrack has brand new songs, the remix album, the covers album and the BTW reissue don't, so... :rip:

So you consider instrumental tracks that Gaga is credited on… for the melody to Hold My Hand, to be new songs, but not new releases of her music, sung by her :rip:

My point is that a remix album, a reissue and an album of covers don't hold the same weight as a brand new album with brand new songs, saying that Gaga has released 5 albums this decade to try to make her stats look less impressive but praising Taylor who has actually released 3 completely new albums and 2 re-recordings that include new songs is hypocritical.

A couple of people have already clarified how it was confusing, you're welcome to read their posts and ask them directly if you're still uncertain. I've already shared my opinion on this. Hope it helped!
