single Latto f/ Lu Kala - “Lottery”

Lu Kala’s vocals & hook are so good. 
Nothing Latto contributed was memorable or notable at all, as someone previously mentioned, it’s kind of faceless & lacks identity. The same issue that was present on Big Energy, ironically, giving no energy. 
 

This may have served her better as a featured artist on a Lu Kala track.

Latto is not a main rap girl. She only has one song that’s actually a hit. If anything this will take a while to build. It sounds like a hit… but I never thought this Would smash first day(see coi leray players).

People comparing this to Saweetie's Closer as if this isn't a million times catchier with a much more instant hook. This might take a while to grow on streaming, but that's just because Latto has basically zero fanbase to stream first day and the playlisting isn't spectacular yet. We'll just have to see.

So confused by the reactions to the first day streams? She’s literally had 2 semi-hits, 1 being purely hip-hop and the other being a slow burn and the replies in here acting as if she’s the biggest artist in the world and that this is an underperformance lol. 
 

anyways this is an undeniable bop unfortunately and it may be my song of the summer I’m so sorry to say. 
 

also probably a very controversial take, but this kinda bops harder than Say So and Closer.

i think latto needs to establish herself in this sound and stick to it. i think the pop singles then the rap albums are just not clicking with anyone i think focusing on create full bodied pop/rap hybrid albums may be a viable lane for her
