She's been putting in the work for years. If she hadn't taken that big gap between  Bangerz and YN (and if YN weren't so mediocre) she wouldnt have hit that career slump. I'm glad people are now realizing she's been delivering classics for the last 4 years

Why are you guys acting as if her career was dead before this song? Sure she wasn't pulling the biggest numbers but she was still prominent in the pop landscape. She just needed the right song to really pop off again, not a miracle.
