Finally she leaves the one country that doesn't give a **** about her lmao.

She got nothing but love and good reviews in europe. As soon she started her US leg it's always about how old and finished she is and bad social media posts everywhere.

Mexico and Brazil are about to remind her the rest of the world is a better place to tour.

But in a way it's kind of rewarding her her... She always gets bad press when she tours here yet she continues to sell out venues and wins in the end. Hence why she tours here so much

Yeah this. She may get bad press and savage social media posts, but those arenas are sold out and filled with curious first time attendees who leave blown away. She's still huge in America, even if the internet says otherwise.

I was thinking, her reviews on Ticketmaster and the comments I've seen on social media all seem to lean very positive for this tour (with Madonna that hasn't always been this way, especially recently). There is the odd complaint about the heat and the tardiness but people in the US really seemed to like the show.

Tempted to make a last minute trip to Texas to see it one last time before it's too late.

Well it's her most accessible tour since Confessions, so it makes sense. This is the Madonna the public wants to see, not her Rebel Heart and Madame X shenanigans.

Rebel Heart except for the 1st act was full of hits, plenty of them weren't played in decades: True Blue, Deeper and Deeper, Like a Virgin, Love Dont Live Here Anymore always got a huge cheer from everyone, a bit of Vogue, La Isla Bonita, a medley with 3 80's hits (Dress Your Up, Into The Groove, Lucky Star), Who's That Girl or hits like Secret, Like a Prayer or Frozen were part of the acoustic song, Music, Holiday, Material Girl :jonny6:

Exactly which is why I don't understand why everyone bashes that tour. It's arguably more of a GH tour than RIT.

Yeah I don't think that she got bad press and reviews in the US, at least the majority of comments in social media from fans, influencers, reporters or celebrities was that she was in top form, that she has a big legacy and that the show was amazing; the only nitpicks were that she started late, the wheelchair thing and some very minor issues. Way more positive than MXT and maybe RHT and MDNA (people were saying that' she was late, the weapons and the intro) so maybe this is her best reviewed show since CT?

Anyway the US leg was too long, they should have cut some shows and maybe do more in certain cities like one more in Miami and not in Tampa; or just 3 in Texas in one city and not 5 in 3 cities.

The hype in Mexico is growing, everyone is so excited for the show!

Tampa was one of the fastest selling show in the US, sold out months before the show and have one of the biggest arena and she did 6 Texas shows over 3 cities

But agree she should have done 1 Dallas and 1 Houston show and keep the 2 Austin shows since she never been there and it was the best selling place among the Texas cities

A 6th show in Mexico should have happens honestly

5 MX shows, my wild bets:

Wendy Guevara, Valentina, Peso Pluma :skull:, Lucia Méndez, someone from her team who hasn't shown up yet.

I think she should have done only one show in Houston. That's it. It's been great except for those two shows.

I agree

The still high average prices of both cities are due mostly to the first shows, the second ones drop the average

Prices could have been around 250$ for both cities if there was not second shows and they would have been completely sold out

I swear these past SIX months have been a freaking blur.

I remember like it was yesterday when she had her first show in London and I was harassing all of you to find a live.

And the only live we could find is that dude filming the ceiling :rip:

but eventually we found a decent one…and I was truly gagged and tears during Live to Tell

and then the Ray of Light slayage was too much to handle and the livestream froze and never recovered :rip:

I remember being in the live driving home from work and Die Another Day came on.

Wendy is currently filming in France and I'm not sure she'll be back for the show plus she said once last year she was not going to the concert.

And I remember how loud I screamed in excitement when Bad Girl started playing. Just seeing her revisit this song again after 30 years was something I didn't think we would see.

when you attempt to buy tickets for the Austin shows now it just directs you to a queue instead of the ticketing map.
