Yup, these are not supposed to be generic songs like K Pop.
 

Some songs have emotion and are not supposed to be upbeat. it’s a creative decision, it’s ok it’s not for everybody.

I hope she doesn't drop anything else till the album, it sis meant to be consumed in its entirety to fully experience greatness of those songs. They don't work as well as stand alones I guess. But it took me a while to fully appreciate them too, you will get there

The direction she was going with Slide, Happiness, I Love Myself, Flowers In The Rain and Nothing's Sacred made me think we will get that type of album and I really liked the direction of that. The album would slay if she included those i hope I will get into FL and ETA but they just feel empty production wise
