Idk, I hear what you're saying but I don't really think it has credence when the tour is largely sold out and receiving great reviews. I personally didn't go to the tour because it sold out within minutes in my area and she's touring what I saw in 2021 with not many edits, bar a more mature and fully realized sound. If she toured Gag Order straight through I would have been first in line for GA admission. 

 

I don't think there's any implications for long-term attendance. Touring has always been a strong department for her (ironically the only time she struggled to sell was during the Warrior era at the peak of her celebrity ) and she has a devoted following that will be paying to see her live until she's out of the game. Cyndi, Paula, Stevie, etc. all still fill ampitheatres/stages 50 years into their careers off of just a few hit singles. She'll be fine. 

 

I'm not too concerned with what the TikTok generation is saying, especially given the example you used had like, 15 comments. It's easy to take a 15 second blip of the concert, which is cheesy I'll admit, and turn it into a cute viral moment, especially since the Petras and Katy stans are on her neck right now, and they're big on social media. I've also laughed at these clips and know many fans that have too. I just don't think that the curiosity posed in your question is going to impact her career or ability to tour writ large. 

 

Plus, most of the Gen Z kids going to see her are there for her big hits, they're not going for her artistry. It's a testament to her impact that she can fill a 5k capacity venue with people aged 16-36 almost 15+ years into her career. 

 

I also don't see how she's butchered any of the live versions. She's been touring those iterations of YLIMD and TIO since 2015. I don't think a throwaway comment means much when you can hear/see the crowd going wild for it regardless. She just went viral two weeks ago for a bit she does during the TIO performance, so its apples to oranges here

I just went on TikTok to see the reaction to the tour and aside of that one viral video of the choreography there's multiple 500k+ plays, 10k+ like videos of the tour where all the comments are Gen Z kiddos talking about how it was a blast and one of the best nights they've had, she was amazing etc. etc.

New era...? @RideOrDie mentioned she's been back in the studio pre-tour. I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to capitalize on her hype...

Saw her on Sunday she was fantastic so idk what that user was talking about

She sounded amazing the energy was there and she interacted with the crowd, was so worth it after not being able to see her on High Road Tour cuz COVID. I wish she did more songs from the album but I'm not complaining! Hate Me Harder was so beautiful

I just realized she actually performed the entire Top 6 of the Gag Order Album Survivor (+ HMH) throughout this tour except for The Drama, though I think that makes sense after all because that song is quite production-heavy and probably doesn't translate that well into a live performance.

Well, no one would know anything about it because the details of the settlement have not been revealed.

 

We will only find out once it’s officially announced that she signed with a new label, depending on whether she wants that.

 

Right now, she is still on the RCA website.

Someone asked her on Live a few months back about a deluxe edition of Gag Order and she said something like 'oh you want a deluxe... noted'. 

 

I don't think its happening though and to be honest after how this era went its probably for best. I think she's pretty eager to close this chapter and move onto the next one.
