She said in the Apple Music interview that Fine Line was originally supposed to be a colorful country song and that Rick Rubin convinced her to take out the cords because it's such a dark song :deadbanana:.

She also said that she didn't think once about singles and radio for this album because of Rick Rubin and that he made her fall in love with music again.

It's pretty good! Enjoyed it much more than High Road, Eat The Acid is definitely my favourite off the album.

The Drama was honestly giving me St Vincent vibes at times, definitely a highlight from the album for me.

My trinity:

Eat The Acid

The Drama

Living In My Head

Rick Rubin making her stay away from pop music hopefully means more experimental production in the future and on a nice indie label. The way we won :jonny5:

While we wait for the Fantano review, we have a very positive review from another MYC (main youtube critic) :clap3:

I wonder if ARTV will give it a review as well. He's been a Kesha fan since Warrior

yooooo I just looked at the credits and Mary Lattimore being the harpist on Happy makes so much sense :jonny4: queen appearing on some of my absolute favorite albums recently!

Still loving this album but her selling “Signed” digital albums is so :rip:

Loving the Zane Lowe interview -- their chemistry is great -- but she's definitely sticking to the same talking points this album cycle. Once you've seen one, you've probably seen (most) of them all.

Not a problem, she's clearly got incredible media training; this is a trend with each of her album cycles.

She learnt from her friend Taylor and she actually needs the extra sales :cm:

Yeah that's always been the case but specially post-lawsuit

Yeah I do get quite bored with Kesha’s interviews during her era. She basically does just say the same thing in each one, which I get but yeah you don’t need to watch more than a couple to get the jist.

i wonder what happened between rainbow and gag order. she seemed pretty happy all things considered and way more confident about her vocals and music during rainbow. now it seems like she is just becoming confident with her voice and loving music all over again. might be reading to much into it though.

I don’t think that’s true, actually. She was really nervous in basically every Rainbow performance as well as in interviews and her vocals were shakier compared to now. High Road is when she started becoming really confident again, her High Road performances were top-notch and her breath control also improved significantly then.

i was talking more about the album. her vocals for the rainbow songs she goes for it in every song. but i get what you're saying. she did sound more confident live during high road.

Her vocals are actually super raw more than they ever have been. On Rainbow she wasn’t as laid bare and stripped as on this record, this time she was going for a different affect with her vocal delivery, maximal vs. minimal.

The Drama & Peace & Quiet have been on repeat. The album is immaculately produced, cohesive & successfully delivered on its concept, without sacrificing variety.

Definitely Kesha’s greatest album to date & if it’s a sign of what’s to come on her artistic journey, that’s really exciting.

I wish she’d stop talking about reality show ghost encounters in her promo interviews though.
