Alex Posted February 3, 2023 Author Posted February 3, 2023 Flip a Switch not being pushed as the album release single is such a missed opportunity.
josesuxx Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 (edited) Worth It. > Buss It Down. is such a cute way to end the album I love them Edited February 3, 2023 by josesuxx

PopFan1996 Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Adele such a supportive queen and with TASTE
Enzo Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Even freaking Adele supported this record but ATRL WHAT YOU WAITING FOR, WHERE IS THE BANNER YOU FLOPS
Richmond Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Meh album. It’s so surprising how different her personal music taste is compared to all her features that I’m aware of, being EDM. Escapism, Flip a Switch >>> It’s a very cohesive, well produced album, though.
Lightbringer007 Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 This album is SO GOOD OMG?!? This girl deserves all the critical acclaim
Escape Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 I'm liking this so far. Where is the banner for this though?

Johnny Jacobs Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 The album was disappointing for me.. But as long as she's smashing
Acetone Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 All four of the prerelease songs are my favorites, she really picked the best singles. Five Star Hotels is the standout of the album tracks. I like Mary Jane and Worth It too
Edgy Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 "My 21st Century Blues" is solid and this kind of material from an artist is rare. Oscar Winning Tears, Ice Cream Man and Buss It Down are powerful.
Jay L Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 I came into the album with no expectations but wow I'm so impressed This a great album! Raye gave us quality lyricism, catchy interesting production, great vocals and top tier melodies a fantastic debut that I hope gives her a more global audience because this album proves she has that IT factor.
cinnamongirI Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 i dont know im gonna have to listen to the album more… i wasn’t sure what to expect when first listening to the album, but for context, i became a fan when she released ESS. i was obsessed with the sound and i was kind of expecting something like that for the debut album? at the moment it’s a solid 5.5/10 for me

Couldn't have said it better myself. Her pen was gliding.
Karla Cabello Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 (edited) i didnt like this at all except for the outro sometimes it reminded me of topical dancer by charlotte adigery & bolis popul but without the wit still excited to see what else she will put out. Rigalo Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Listening now! Only new song so far was OWT, it was cute
AMIT Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Love the album! There's bops, emotional cuts, throwback jams and her voice has so much personality and range! The production is very varied as well, I was definitely not expect a drum n bass song to be thrown in there. And even then it doesn't feel out of place at all. Also All songs are pretty much new to me since I had only watched the Escapism video prior. Black Mascara is such a bop. Escapism and Flip a Switch as well. Other faves so far are Worth It and Environmental Anxiety. There's no song I dislike/skip though, and the slow burn potential is insane, she ate I fear.
