Has the age gap debate become unserious?

Yeah, it's ridiculous at this point. However, outside of chronically online weirdos with no social life, I don't think anyone actually thinks like that, so in reality it's a non-issue.

No, conversations are never "out of hand" when it's not real life. We actually should be having more discourse on how people go about relationships because something tells me the myriad of issues people have and why most relationships fail is due to the failure to discuss what is and isn't healthy for the outfit in the first place.

Obviously in any discussion some people are doing too much but there are also those who do too little and seek to defend their egos by hushing it up.

The way people want to hide their hand and about what is always funny to me.

Screaming pedophilia at 20/21 year old dating a 17/18 year old is actually insensitive to actual victims of pedophilia imo :mazen:

Such conversations about age gaps always infuriate kinda just by seeing the thoughless things people say

Once you are 18 you are a grown adult and can do whatever you want. If atrl wants me to think differently then pay my bills and I will otherwise I don't care what u think is right or wrong

In your 30s it becomes less of a thing.

My husband and I started dating in 2009. I was 19 and he was 33. The gap was clear.

Now in my 30s, it’s less of a thing.

18+ can do whatever they want.

Don’t listen to others who age gap shame. If I did, I would have missed out on being with the love of my life.
