it's kind of absurd how she never wanted to consider a 'Buffy' reboot and distantiate herself from that show, but then jumping on a 'Teen Wolf' kind of show while pushing 50? :skull:

I feel like probably she has damaged her brand and with all those flops under her belt, that they simply not consider her for better shows.

The only explanation is that these days she doesn't have better offers, she has collected too many flops.

In 20 years of 'Buffy' finished, she has never had a successful project.

It's such a shame that David Boreanaz and Allison Hannigan have had such success, while SMG has really struggled. I'm guessing her agent just picked the worst projects post-Buffy and then she was never able to fully recover. As @Godly mentioned she is friends with Reese, and yet hasn't shown up even in cameo roles on any of her shows. It seems like she either doesn't want to act, or just has bad luck.

Solid second episode, I definitely believe we're going to get a massive reveal next episode to really set things in motion. I'm already loving Sarah's acting so far and can't wait to see the interaction with Rodrigo Santoro.

how the hell is Sarah billed as the lead in this, she barely appears and is totally irrelevant :rip:

It's kinda too slow, the 2nd episode was okayish, just like the first one. Gonna give it another chance with the next episode.

saw gifs of the hot dudes kissing  is it worth the watch though

They need a major famous actor to promote the show with otherwise no one would watch it

i

loved the part in the girl's house, where the werewolf got attacked by poor Diesel and the boy hit the plank, they ran away and the werewolf just stood there like, oh **** they ran i totally can't catch them now :skull:

:heart2: & :rip:

Here's what's cuh-razy, shorty, I'm not mad she slapped him. He really was out of line for talking to his shtty mom like that.

Yo, so the mom really came into his room and didn't apologize for slapping him?! Yikes. They're really not interested in trying to give her dimensions, huh?

Aaaaaaand, once again 20mins to get to TALENT.

Okay, so is the gay's only thing going to be hypersexuality? I'm not interested in boring stuff like that in a goddamned werewolf show. Doesn't bode well for him being the clearly weaker character of the siblings. Luna up 15.

The babyface friend of the main guy has hairy asf legs, I was scared at the face to leg ratio, sksksk. He's the only one who looks like an actual teen too, so it was jarring.

Not him FREAKING like a republican during the shot, thanks Pfizer.

How long till antivaxers use that clip as rEaL pRoOf of the effects of being vaccinated?

Imma be real and this may be bitterness and severe disappointment at the creature not being shown again but them playing in my face is upsetting me. I don't like useless buildup for no payoff and I damn sure don't like when things aren't committed to like the creature over garrett.  I am glad they didn't milk him being in the fire though because I was reaching the point of, "hoe, just die" with the cuts to him stumbling around.

This caller is even more useless than Derek ever was. It's ridiculous, at this point I'd believe it was the creature calling to lure them out, otherwise this is just too stupid to abide.

I ain't even gotta say it but I'm gonna be paying the romance between the leads DUST unless something I like happens with them.

OK, so this boy is being chased and the only thing he could say was "third floor"? Now I'm not trying to be mean but is he stupid fr? I see why he didn't get the high spec abilities, he's just the sacrifice to show that the creature is "deadly."

So I'm gonna assume that this thing does not have high speed because it can't catch up to someone limping, nor did it try to chase the other two last episode.

I must say, I was pleased to see that not only did his cast got stuck for no apparent reason(the fence did not appear to be jagged at all) but that he made a foolish self harm maneuver only to end up on the wrong side anyway. Rip, bozo.

This episode was better than the last but you know what's sad? It still wasn't good.

both David and Alyson remained mostly in the TV land, while Sarah tried to stay away from it, which was unfortunate cause she could have booked some recurring roles, she didn't need to lead again if she didn't feel like it

I think Ringer could have been a bigger comeback for her had the project been stronger and not toned down by CW + the 22 episode format, then she tried again with Crazy Ones and I think with the premiere, we all thought she'd be back on our screens for a while but it fizzled out

then Cruel Intentions revival on TV sounded promising but clearly was doomed and ended up dead

she planned another big comeback with Sometimes I Lie (no network or actual buyer) & Other People's Houses (for FOX) but COVID got in the way

I think with Wolf Pack, we need more patience, I trust her and she said she wanted to keep booking projects with plans to adapt a book as a series (probably Sometimes I Lie)

Liked this more than chucky and Wednesday. Throwing SMG in all the interviews and making her look like the star is wrong tho. We were tricked into watching this. But I'll continue

this is one of the shittiest shows i have ever seen :ahh:

unknown on the phone: "you have to run!" garrett: "i can't."

:ahh:

everett's mum "you have to go, now!" *closes the door* also her slapping him and just walking away :skull:

garrett limping away from a fast werewolf, for no reason destroying his cast JUST for the werewolf to go around :rip:

the imaginary horse :ahh:

at least they showed that ass 🍑 but that whole section was off

i honestly continue watching just for the cringe

This is just.... SMG I'm sorry queen but I'm already over it and it's only episode 2 :deadbanana2: the leads don't hold a candle to the TW crew (whether you like them or not) and the plot and especially the editing/pacing is so wonky. Like I didn't even realize the main guy got bit cause everything was so chaotic (in a bad way) during the bus scenes.

The only redeeming quality so far is the gay character and the guy he was making out with xnfnfk :bibliahh:  those scenes were extra spicy compared to TW, I was kinda shook nnnnnn. If there's one thing Jeff Davis is gonna put effort into, it's picking eye candy that's hot enough to distract from the sh*tty acting and script

Oh man... Ringer... I mean, it's still guilty pleasure goodness, but I read the pilot screenplay back in the day before they shipped it off to the CW and damn, it was such a good read. Too bad they had so many changes done to the show that it didn't really resemble what they initially wanted to create. The 22-episode format paired with CW of all networks just didn't do the main idea of the show justice.

I think Crazy Ones was weak with some cute eps here and there, but they sort of found their footing in making SMG the Penny Hartz/Liz Lemon of the show. Could have been nice.

The Cruel Intentions revival... the less said about that pilot the better... lol

I think there was another project for Amazon Prime she was attached to called Hot Pink that wasn't picked up. I'm not sure what it is that she hasn't lucked out on a cool and poignant project yet. And I'm still bitter about The Wonderful Maladys not getting picked up by HBO back in the day. Judging from the pilot episode screenplay, they really had something special there. Such a shame.

This is the worst writing and acting I’ve seen in years. Imagine coming out of retirement for this

Ep3 was great, literally the best episode so far and Sarah is once again more in it

I was expecting this to be truly the worst show on television given some of these reactions, and while it's certainly not perfect or artistic, it's easy watching and mostly entertaining. I think I'm gonna stick with it

same after the initial reviews, I expected a true mess and it's entertaining, kinda long but it's slowly unravelling and EP3 was good + I know more Sarah is coming

Finally the series livens up, episode 2 felt like it was part of an extended pilot that got cut for being long.

"You can't say p anymore, that's sexist." Where? When was that ever said? This is old millennial writing for gen z realness. No one believes that outside of the slowzone on twitter. No young person says stuff like that.

I was hoping that the entire group was gonna die up there but of course that'd be too much of a good thing.

Even the show knows the main boy sucks, he always needs to stfu. Forever.

Wow, finally we get the bad bish earlier than 20mins.

It's crazy how media's depiction of people with anxiety is always with them being annoying and overly talky or hyperventilating useless wards of flesh.

Ffs, her and this FREAKING HORSE. Girl, stop. Please. Wtf is with this show and the need for unnecessary weirdness?

Yep, gay boy's continuous showing must include something gay BUT the guy he ends up with looks regular. There might be something to balance his extremism out.

You know what's crazy, phoebe is a classic white feminist and I still like her more than the main group. A literal caricature of a character. Yikes.

"You don't ask for a lawyer? 'Cause then they arrest you." Uh, so what? Always ask for a lawyer. You don't cooperate with the police. At least the guy of color has some sense of realism. White people will gladly get people killed with their odd ass idea of fooling people who are looking for a perp and not actually investigating anything.  And smoking weed? What is this, the 90s? No one goes to the woods to smoke weed, especially with the insinuation of fire starting.

Ugh, nooo, they're gonna water Luna down with a basic guy, ooo romance storyline. Why did I think she was immune to the stylings of weak character building, she's on the show. Fml.

The reemphasis on miller means either redemption or death, I'm hopeful for death.

Ok, the smoking of an edible was cute, ngl. But you're telling me he doesn't know what an edible is? He knows what weed is so he would know about edibles, they're mad popular with young people.

Wait, if he can hear ole boy then is the super hearing not unique to him? Or is his just better than normal for a werewolf? I needed some clarification which was given, so that's good.

So it's like their powers that were specialized are resonating or something, which links with the mind thing they could do in ep 1. Maybe it's a pack members can share abilities thing too.

You know what REALLY grinds my gears? Millers are all over our stations, they're known to other cops(the good ones™) yet they're allowed to keep their jobs like their entire disposition isn't antithetical to protecting and serving. The police are a rotten enterprise, always remember that. That's why you don't talk and that's why you have a right to a lawyer. You never know when you get a miller, so better to exercise caution and protect yourself somewhat. Good cops™ are not to be relied on.

I KNOW hot dad isn't leaving strangers in his home unsupervised?!  Also ew @the coughing. He got covid for sure.

Why the dummies having a "private" convo when they know they can hear them? This that bs.

You telling me there hasn't been a full moon since he found them? Wouldn't they have turned into wolves during those times if that was the thing to happen?  Huh? Why would having a pack change killer instinct? Wolves are bloodthirsty by nature, they hunt with or without the pack.

Wait, are they like, in heat? That would actually be a good way of explaining the shoehorned sexual nature for both of the leads. And the gay, sksksk. Luna too with being hot for the guy.

Wtf? So now their senses are turned up during the full moon but Luna did not share the hearing ability of her brother but because there's two more, she can?

Finally, some group intellect. Lock everything and act like you're being pursued by someone that wants you dead.

Ok, so confirmed. They're gonna be inconsistent with their powers so they can use them for plot convenience. I'll remember that.

FYI, cops are not allowed to trespass on your front porch to ask questions either nor are they allowed to follow you home and stalk you without probable cause. Always take note of police actions against you whenever possible with notes preferably with timestamp and or recordings.  So you're telling me the guy who was distrusting of cops and was literally just assaulted by one is the one who'd open the door for the SAME ONE WHO ASSAULTED HIM. Be realistic. Be grounded.

Even villain werewolves hate abuse of power from the police. They're literally the scum of scum.

I seriously don't get the assumption that their dad would try to kill them, especially after he just saved him. So unreasonable.

You're telling me neither of them could say anything and just ignored the two strangers in their house? I swear man.

Ok, is Luna Arya? What's with the horse? I'm gonna start skipping past that from now on. Also why wouldn't he tell them the gun was in a combination cell before they went out?

Words cannot explain how much I dislike the lead girl, continuously stupid, hard-headed and wrong. She's a detriment. "We're not safe anywhere." Then I better not see your ass back with your brother, do the responsible thing and leave town.

Ok, so FINALLY are we gonna move on from the braindead premise of being in danger of it killing them? That kind of stuff bores me.

Why wouldn't you take precautions against werewolves if you knew they were real? Lmao. They're both stupid as hell.

3 was indeed better than 2 and 1 really.
