I kind of wish she repeated the pre-chorus on River once because it’s probably my favorite part of the song (along with the second verse ) the song is a bop though as is

I think the highs on Plastic Hearts were highs but there were a few Songs I didn't play much like night Crawling, Bad Karma, High...

This is exactly what I was thinking. A viral HM song or cover which is then attached to a digital deluxe of the album would’ve helped a lot with streams. 

 

Overall, I really like the album but I understand why it isn’t immediately smashing. Hopefully there’s more to come because I can at least see Jaded doing somewhat well.

River, Violent Chemistry and Rose Colored Lenses are cute also but the rest is mid or bad, pretty weak album overall

2017 - Younger Now tanked, but Malibu was a legitimate hit and she was still getting a fat check from The Voice and that Amazon Prime show.

2019 - She Is Miley Cyrus was scrapped, but Nothing Breaks Like a Heart became one her biggest hits outside of the US, Black Mirror episode was well-received and Glastonburry set was acclaimed.

2020-2021 - Moderately sucessful album with great recurring streams, viral covers and performances, acclaimed festival tour, $40M-deal with NBC and a hit NYE show.

2023 - Whatever happens, Flowers will still be one of the biggest hits of the year.

 

I know this sounds stan'd and corny, but love how Miley always wins even during difficult times in her career. 'Win some, lose some' indeed, Milegend.

Wildcard, Jaded, Violet Chemistry are career highlights.
