Flowers — 8.5/10

Jaded — 7.5/10

Rose Colored Lenses — 9.5/10

Thousand Miles — 8.5/10

You — 6.5/10

Headstand — 6/10 (basically an interlude? Very nice production though)

River — 6.5/10

Muddy Feet — 9.5/10

Violet Chemistry — 7.5/10

Wild card — 8.5/10 (sounds very familiar?)

Island — 9.5/10

Wonder Woman — 6/10

This is Miley’s best album by far for me, her first album that is fully listenable. I like that it combines rock, pop, dance and country effortlessly. A lot of it reminds me of Hannah Montana in a good and mature way. River is one of the worst songs and shouldn’t be a single AT ALL.
My favs, added to my repeat playlist: Rose Colored Lenses, Muddy Feet, Island, Wild Card, Thousand Miles

taste for Rose Colored Lenses! I feel like this track is becoming underrated already (at least in this thread)

Their poor two braincells are doing all they can! They saw the same team on the credits and ran with it

It must be the poppers getting to their heads there's absolutely no other explanation to make sense out of those claims assjfjd :deadbanana:

Rose Colored Lenses is already being underrated i see! It's amazing actually :gaycat4:

Party Up the Street would sound great on this album, it'd be one of the more experimental tracks like Handstand. Very summery and light (also one of her most underrated tracks)

Also this DOES feel like a natural progression from Plastic Hearts. Especially knowing HER. The claims in this thread from some hours ago were so baseless it's kinda insane :deadbanana2:

I'm more talking about some people on here claiming like this doesn't sound like a natural progression from PH sonically and some claiming this doesn't sound "miley enough"? (Whatever that's supposed to mean anyway :deadbanana:)

This album does sound like a logical step forward from PH to me idk

How is Jaded not the next single? It was the only song I liked btw. PH >>>

Handstand should've been the opening track tbh

Its bc she toned down the rock and upped the country/pop/dance. I dont think people expected that, but we knew this was the direction she was going in based on Flowers. Nevertheless this is Miley at her core, even more than PH. And her progression makes sense its just wasnt expected by some people

Rose Colored Lenses is SO repetitive. Home girl couldn't have added another verse? Kinda feels like a closing-ish track with how weird the ending is.

Any critics that count towards metacritic out yet?

I agree it feels like a really nice closing track..trying to rejig the tracklisting (and adding in TOMO)

Rose Colored Lenses is so ******* cute I want to fall in love RIGHT NOW

not "Drive down to texas, flip off my exes" :skull: so far this album is just a downgrade from PH

My current faves are River, RCG & Flowers. I feel like they have the most GP appeal.

Muddy Feet & Jaded are the next tier

Handstand would benefit from another chorus and removing the monologue

Violet Chemistry is promising but something about the beat feels so dated

I’m co-signing everyone saying Wildcard is filler, whew. Island & Wonder Woman don’t really go anywhere

You had a lot of promise but agreed that the beats are garbage
