The mixed reviews on here just makes me more excited to listen to it because how can one post say it’s the worst album of all time right before someone else says it’s a career highlight and future classic?

My current top 3: Jaded - Violet Chemistry - River. Jaded and VC is pretty much set but Wildcard and Thousand Miles are coming for the trinity

Can’t believe I’m saying this after Flowers being my most played song of the year so far but.. this is one of the worst pop albums I’ve heard in a while  it’s just so meh, the melodies just aren’t there. I have no desire to add anything from it to my library other than Jaded, which is the best song after Flowers imo
 

I’ll be surprised if she manages to get another hit from it (even if nowadays you can never tell with TikTok). River for sure isn’t going anywhere 

 

I wish Miley the best but im so disappointed

The song has FANTASTIC verses , pre-chorus,  bridge  ..... and then there is there is the chorus which the 2 choruses are lacking of something and the last chorus is too much going on ... i hope we get use to it somehow

Speaking of which, I haven’t seen anyone else post their trinity yet so mine is Jaded, Thousand Miles and VC. I think VC may have overtaken WOMH as my fave Miley song. Too early to tell tho

Handstand is a career highlight. River is better than Flowers imo. I think it's a great single choice. I like studio version of You better than the live version but it's still a waste of space when Taste of my Own was literally right there. Thousand Miles is probably my least favourite so far. It sounds like a Younger Now reject reworked a bit.

 

Overall a very solid album. I don't want to say it's my favourite just yet but it actually may be.
