Kayseri Mantisi Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 I think the only complaint I have is River being the second single Makes ZERO sense to me
TaylenaStan Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 This album feels very focused on the production but overall there is barely any memorable moment vocally/melodically by Miley Compared to PH where her vocals SHINED and there were more catchy melodies
SmashingMiley Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 Those who already listened through VPN better make sure to stream again once it’s officially out in your country or else those VPN streams will NOT count towards any chart

gloamingtheplain Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 Okay I’m guessing whoever did the vocal mixing did almost the entire album because her vocals are being mixed with the instrumental and it’s giving loud backing track on a lot of songs. I’m SO surprised because Miley has ALWAYS had an ear for vocal production since CBT. Her harmonies and backings are always spot on, there’s so many layers to her vocals on her albums. And yet here it’s like the main, backing and harmonies are all competing and it kind of feels like a main vocal is missing from the forefront.

PH was IT and will always be IT and felt like something only Miley could pull off -- so far this is fine but it is giving Harry Styles-lite.

lorenlemonade Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 PM side slaps, AM needs to grow a bit on me but I still love it. Good job Miley

NordicGuy Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 Not too crazy about the album tbh. I'm sure I'll like it more after repeated listens but right now it feels like a somewhat unremarkable album. Nothing too special, just fun music to listen to. My current favorites are the softer moments like Wonder Woman, Island and You. I also really like River and Rose Colored Lenses.

Listening to Malibu or Can’t Be Tamed you can hear all the layers and harmonies that take the song to an 11/10. I’m struggling to find it here
Mhoum Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 Muddy feet is actually good. Weirdly mixed but catchy, I just hope SIA actually sang lead
perfectillusion204 Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 What in the world did she do to You She sounds off beat in the first verse. Live version was miles better, but I think that was expected.
