So i couldnt help myself no more. Just listened to River HQ. 
 

It’s actually… so good!? Sounds like a mix between CBT/Bangerz and that chorus is so simple yet so catchy. My fave part is the prechorus btw. 
 

Dont wanna jinx it but we might have another hit in our hands

But it's not, is as vanilla as a pop song can get nowadays. Yeah we gays can dance to whatever but River won't make a dent at clubs.

Violet Chemistry is fine on first listen but feels like a grower

Wildcard is a kind of midtempo that suits her voice, I love it

 

And from what I've heard it sounds nothing like any of her old material

can't wait for the release tomorrow

To me River is like slicker, sexier, faster tempo version of Nightmare. Very reminiscent of early-mid 2010s pop. A bop seriously
