IBeMe Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 He seems generic enough to fit the role I guess. I did want a bit of a shakeup tbh but he will do I suppose
truthteller Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 (edited) i knew he could deliver a stunning performance to show his affection to older women like bonds do + him in bullet train Edited January 3, 2023 by truthteller
Into The Void Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Wasn't there someone else literally yesterday who was in talks for the role? Lol
RockStarShit101 Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 he's so basic i remember watching bullet train and i had no idea he was in the movie until i googled the cast afterward yup, he's that forgettable
TheCheshireCat Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 nnnnn like Grace said, he has had well over a decade to become a thing, been in half a dozen big movies and they are still trying to make him happen. Give it to someone fresh!
Navyofbadgals Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Everyone and their mother now in the running to be the next bond
nathanspears Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 What are they even going to do? Is it going to be another reboot?
Nachocheesechalup Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Lol at people calling him generic and basic on here when the same people would all undoubtedly turn to putty if he were anywhere near them irl. a joke.
Martyr Of Fame Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Good thing Amazon purchased MGM because this sounds like a direct-to-[Prime]Video film.
Cloudy Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 I don't think it would awful, but it's a safe choice. Idris isn't really that much better, but the headline of the first "black Bond" would certainly help the franchise more than ATJ's casting. 41 minutes ago, TheCheshireCat said: nnnnn like Grace said, he has had well over a decade to become a thing, been in half a dozen big movies and they are still trying to make him happen. Give it to someone fresh! Same can be said about Idris Elba and people still root for him
Khal Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Not here for this only because of the fact that each promotional cycle will be filled with the twitter psychos dredging up the age gap thing with his wife.

James Bond is a long running franchise, in which different agents take over the '007' moniker. Daniel Craig has now finished his stint as James Bond, so a new actor will be taking over the role. The franchise has never been 'rebooted'.
