dussel_06 Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Taylor really is the Beatles of this generation. She’s untouchable, like really.

Carly’s biggest 3 hits are much bigger than the 3 biggest songs from either of those 2, I thought — and her discography is pretty beloved by her fanbase. She’s also probably a much more successful touring artist than either. I really don’t get it Carly’s commercial peak hit before streaming exploded, and even with her cult status she was never moving huge numbers there. if anything I’m surprised where she is in a positive way tbh those other two don’t have the actual impact, but since they hit during the streaming era they’ve benefitted more from that on this list
Delirious Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Ellie is gonna surpass Cardi at this rate tbh
unclefloprry Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 wow Britney #3 of the 90s without a hit era in +10 years Dua is the most impressive. With only 2 albums and random collaborations whew.
unclefloprry Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 ok but Rihanna is still in the top 5 without a single release in 7 years
Kim Petrat Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 how did tove lo get up so high?? good for her!
Selenasworld Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 I suppose Selena Gomez & The Scene isn't included

Love u for the input
Selenasworld Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Red Velvet is missing also Clairo and probably more Also Selena Gomez + Selena Gomez & TS is above Gaga according to Chartmasters tool
Klein Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Taylor crossing 50B next year. Rihanna jumping to #3 if she releases a new album. Lana coming for the top 10. Billie and Dua already #3 and #4.
Zoe_ Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Beyonce #6. Wow, I didn't know she would be so high.
Lovett Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Beyoncé at #6? But her second fanbase said that she was a flop because she wasn't inside the daily top 10 list for female artists, in the US!
Jjang Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Bey out-streaming Gaga despite the latter debuting close to the streaming era

Here's the Top 20 even. (Note that some of these numbers are a few days old cuz that's when they were last updated on Chartmasters, but the positions wouldn't be affected by that.) 1. Taylor Swift: 38,747,662,369 2. Ariana Grande: 33,973,748,047 3. Billie Eilish: 25,172,399,023 4. Dua Lipa: 23,515,032,995 5. Rihanna: 22,058,531,734 6. Beyoncé: 16,721,594,696 7. Lady Gaga: 15,905,448,632 8. Nicki Minaj: 15,508,267,924 9. Adele: 15,272,190,842 10. Halsey: 14,736,435,227 11. Selena Gomez: 14,668,245,159 12. Sia: 14,350,563,658 13. Lana Del Rey: 13,683,119,051 14. Katy Perry: 13,432,997,128 15. Doja Cat: 12,509,842,679 16. Camila Cabello: 12,327,799,154 17. KAROL G: 12,227,597,235 18. Shakira: 11,146,583,114 19. Demi Lovato: 11,063,308,345 20. Miley Cyrus: 10,471,352,600 Only the "&"/"with" are lead credits, but sometimes a song that is labeled as "ft." makes it's way onto the featured artist's main page as if it were a co-lead. I have no idea why/how that happens, but occasionally it does. Depends how is credited on Spotify's database. For example JATQ remix was counted as lead for Taylor last year, for Lana SOTB was credited as lead too. Lately Rihanna's team took control of the TIWCF master and changed her from "feature" to "lead" so she could get lead streams (even though it still says Ft Rihanna). Basically lead streams is every song that is on the Spotify official page of the artist (before that change TIWCF didn't appear at Rihanna's page or top 10 songs and after that it appeared at both page and top 10 songs)
Punky Rooster Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Madonna being the highest streamed post 90s act
bestfiction Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Madonna is the highest 80s female act on streaming? interesting, I was told that she's a flop on streaming compared to her peers
Armani? Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 ATRL told me no one listens to H.E.R though, so why is she Top 100 & within range of everyone? @cockatoo @St. Francis Thoughts? 25. SZA 61. Summer Walker 62. H.E.R. 67. Kehlani 72. Jhené Aiko
Selegend Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Selena Gomez & the Scene should be united as it is on Youtube. She would be #6.

How can the lead already 5b

I don't think she'll move up any more past that though unless something we can't foresee happens, but she's still done VERY well for herself the past 4 years considering where she was at the beginning of the streaming era. Her streaming improvement is really one for the books The way we fans were worried about that in 2017 and OGHs having their lives..... Now it's the other way round 10 hours ago, Pop Art said: Sure! Beyoncé and Shakira, the longevity No 2000s fads allowed Taylor numbers are beyond insane Nicki and Adele are both coming for Gaga arent they? Or Is Gaga gaining faster than them? LG7 couldnt come sooner Lana coming for the Top 10! With zero hit, zero promo, zero Hollywood gymnastic Katy Perry deep diving slowly but surely .To think she was like Top 5 at the beginning of the streaming era?
Rafael Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Beyoncé being at 6 while Destiny's Child is on the list as well. This career
