I honestly don't know how I feel about Chill Kill. However, what I do know is that if any other group had released Chill Kill or Drama, many of you would've harshly criticized it, let's be honest. The reason why I'm saying this is because some of you Sheep, have extremely high standards for non-SM releases apparently, and are ready to drag those songs while giving your SM faves a pass for putting out the same kind of music that you guys consider "mediocre music". It seems like some of you are attempting to develop a form of Stockholm Syndrome to make yourselves like this song, reminiscent of what happened with Birthday last year. It's perfectly okay to acknowledge that your favorite group may not always deliver, particularly if they happen to be Red Velvet 

 

However I must say that their b-sides in this new album are WAY better than the title track, and I'm wondering why one of these songs didn't become the title track instead? 

 

My favorite songs on the album that I might put in my playlist: 

 

 

Overall, the album maintains a consistent sound, almost as if they crafted an entire album centered around the "Feel My Rhythm" sound, which would've also fitted perfectly in this album. I didn't connect with any song like that, but overall it's a cute album I guess and will give it a 6/10

Based on the first listen of the album, Wendy took over all the ad-libs. A MOTHER.

 

 

I’m sure once I listen to the album more, I’ll pick up on some Seulgi and Joy ad-libs, but usually Seulgi is a lot more prominent. 
 

The only songs I didn’t really like were Bulldozer and Wings.
