Yeonjun with the pink mullet and cowboy hat was his cunty it-boy peak

He should've told Dr Kim to fuck off while he was ahead but nooooo he had to go become the korean Latoya Jackson

They did a school concept with a pop rock sound in 2019 with Run Away

Run Away was still very bright and was more “pop” and different from their 2021 pop rock sound though

Why no one told me about this?

:jamming:

Fun fact this is the demo version they remixed.

The fact that the original groups of the members were way more popular than SuperM as well, like why not just push EXO in the West instead who were already popular and used to rival BTS back then as well apparently? They had at least a way bigger chance of making it than SuperM I feel like?

And speaking of Lee Knowles and the Tiger Inside stage, he really ate up that performance among all these other main dancers and stole the show

And his legendary Tiger Inside fancam

I wasn’t really into Kpop at this time but I was fuming at how they cheated and stole the #1 from Summer iconic album Over it :toofunny3:

And then I started getting interested in Kpop, I was even more mad bc Exo should have been the group getting the US push instead of Sperm. What a waste

I was kidding on my essay to make it  overdramatic, but It was literal cheat, as Adama said. And I really dislike Baekhyun and Kai's names are related to this hot mess and embarrassement.

K-pop stans nowdays like to drag K-pop acts getting great numbers on US for selling more physical versions, but It's the bare mininum close to what SM/Capitol did to get this #1. They used to sell merch like keychains and stickers much  cheaper than regular albums with SuperM albums as bundle.

SM really want hard with the SuperM Western promo, with the group even making a random cameo appearance on a random Nickelodeon show, like it’s kinda iconic:suburban:

What’s happening with the topic why no one is talking about Taeyeon!? :giraffe: Where are my fellow sones here???? @Sheep and the rest!???

she looks so good and the leather jacket just makes it even hotter :superman:

there’s a rumor going on the x of the song is to herself :superman:

I love that they took the time to reference her old concepts. But I’m really hoping next year that all of the girls get different months. Right now I’m too excited about Aespa and tomorrow I’ll be excited for RV and I won’t even think about Taeyeon’s comeback until next Monday :deadbanana:

Probably the 2nd k-pop I listened after Gangnam Style. The way it was huge on Musically. What a time to be alive :WAP:

I remember reading that they were frauds, but this is next level omg :suburban:

Like was that #1 album even worth it at this point after this embarrassing tactic?:suburban:

Loser Lover absolutely goes AWFFFFFFFFF in concert. I'm a sucker for a good crowd participation segment and Yeonjun really hypes it up hard

It’s just weird to tease starting in Sunday. I didn’t even know she teased anything :deadbanana4:

We’ll be ready cuz we are getting new music and I’m sure after more than a year without a comeback she will deliver! :superman:

About you guys saying SM should push EXO to western market, I agree to an extent. I think SM should've pushed them at their prime, not 2019 when SuperM debuted. 2019 two of the members were already leaving for enlistment, It was too late.

In 2018-2019 the right group should've been Red Velvet focusing on their Velvet side, especially after Bad Boy's organic success. If I'm not mistaken, 'Bad Boy' was the first song after BTS/BLACKPINK releases to enter Spotify US.

SuperM shouldn't have happened and NCT 127 was the wrong regular group to be pushed too.

Well, at least now I think SM chose correctly and aespa is the best group on their catalog for said fate. The girls have great music, great talents and have the It-factor. I think leaving the whole Kwangya thing more on the background was a step on the right direction.

All the TXT posts in here making me emotional about how they really fell off quality-wise. That Run Away to Loser=LOVER run was PEAK

They're okay now but I've accepted nothing from them will top those 3 albums, at least the stuff they release now is still miles better than what other BGs are serving :coffee2:

Ko Ko Bop is questionable and stomped by several b-sides on The War... but I have a soft spot for Power :emofish:

The moment it was announced can be easily described as the worst of my K-pop stan life.

Especially after the recent 'Don't Mess Up My Tempo'/'Love Shot' atrocious roll out and promotions that made it clear EXO was no long a priority for SM, after pushing the comebacks for 11 months through the whole 2018. And not only EXO has treated like garbage, they had to set two of the members to embarrassament.

Not only the decision was the lowest peak of K-pop existence, the whole concept and marketing around it was cringe to not say something worse. The gimmicks and desesperation to make It happen was so heinous that this group's disaster was one of the biggest reasons Billboard needed to change their Album Chart's rules right after the comeback.

I've never listened to more than one song of this project since. And only did cause Lee Know covered one of It's songs in a Year-End collaboration stage and I wanted to watch the king deliver. A sacrifice.

Pluto, keep it away from my nighmares AGAIN. Thank you.

the only good thing that came out of superm was exols going to great lenghts to crop others out, some of those edits were so funny dhdhdhd

EXO should have been pushed in 2016 when Monster dropped. :jonny4: The Quality and demand was there. It also was the last release that they were still more popular than BTS. I think that’s around when Fire came out. Idk I forgot. Also that’s around the time social media was really starting to affect music consumption.

stan goggles off for a second I think Riize has what it takes to be successful in America if they make the right moves

they're cute, they're hot, they're talented, they're authentic, already have built in western appeal, they have an American member, and they have good music

come get them, america
