TXT kinda fell off after Minisode 1 and then their sound became noisier and some of it was similar to Enhypen  Freeze was really good though. Haven't listened to their 2023 stuff but I hope they go back to that Crown-Run Away-Blue Hour type of sound.

Honestly Enhypen and TXT have a very similar sound with both of them getting a lot of BTS rejects especially BTS’ English discography.

I disagree, but I do think that they appeal to the same demographic, which affects the popularity of both groups. They both are million sellers anyway so maybe they don't really care.

I agree that some of their songs can be mistakenly identified as the other group’s song and vice versa. Blame it on the HYBE vocal processing as well. But I noticed that Enhypen’s last album has less vocal processing which is a good sign. 

 

Actually most fans noticed that as well regarding their concepts. Not only Enhypen and TXT but most HYBE groups. I remember there was a time that all of the comebacks of SVT, TXT and Enhypen are rock inspired. 

 

In terms of them covering BTS songs, for me it’s more like HYBE is putting BTS in a pedestal so their groups should worship them. Also, to gain attention and hopefully new fans from ARMYs. It also could be that HYBE doesn’t want to pay fees/royalties to other music companies if TXT/Enhypen will cover other BG songs (more like cost-cutting).

The teasing is almost finished, there's likely something coming on the 9th, then after that it's the MV teaser.

We're only 4-5 days away from the comeback now

 

And I agree that song snippet with the picture of Yeri is fire!

even with SM fumbling certain steps as always, the content itself has been incredible even by Red Velvet’s standards and I can’t contain my excitement

I mean you can totally see the difference in the staff between aespa and RV. aespa's stuff comes out on time with no mistakes, so RV's production center really needs to work on that. 

 

But I agree, I can't fault the quality so far. The album trailer was crazy good, plus the album packaging and songs (from what we've heard) sound so high quality. Even the logo designs and artwork for this era have been so on point.

 

SM usually announces pre-order numbers on the morning of the comeback, so not yet.

I mean the full albums being English and minis being Korean kinda makes sense, as EPs don’t really work in the west. So if they truly want to expand their audience a full album in English does make sense.

Only problem is that these companies usually pick the shittiest songs for English releases. A full album of Better Things would make me unstan tbh

whatever is going on in their management specifically needs to be studied because the consistent buffoonery since like… debut is almost impressive

My thoughts on today's Rise & Realize:

 

- I could've done without the segment with the TikTokers. Ew

- It's cute that most of them seem to have an understanding of English when it is spoken to them. Either that or they're faking it well.

- Wonbin always looks so different with his hair pushed back like that

- Their interactions with the choreographer are so cute. They're so nice and respectful and the choreographer was so excited to work with them.

- Shotaro is so cute 

- I wonder if they'll show Seunghan's mini breakdown re: the kiss scandal?
